What People are saying

Ok beach side property, nothing excited about this place.

Akansha2011on 03/06/2017 12:41

Nothing exciting about this property. Normal rooms with not so maintained bathrooms. Goa has much better beach side properties for the same or less fare.
Breakfast was very simple and nothing special.
Locating this property is a task. And if you have hired a two wheeler and coming late at night with family then sometimes it gets scary as this place is bit isolated.

A wonderful experience

Better to opt for wooden cottages. Cottages are close to beach, independent and self sufficient with attached toilets and independent varandah. All huts are with ACs and small refrigerator. Huts are 100 mtrs from the beach.

It's your Fault... don't go there

Julioloboon 31/10/2016 15:17

We stayed at this property for 3 nights. It's my fault that I did not read the very true. reviews of this place.... they will charge you the full rate and you have to ask for all the services... they will not clean your room or change towels, or bed covers.. and if you say anything it's your fault. You will get 1 bottle of water for all the days you stay not for each day.
Albert is a nice person,And cannot deliver a service.
You have to organise cash ...they won't tell you about it nor will there be any intimation, it's your fault that you don't know this and won't give you a bill. I am still waiting for mine
The internet is free, and very very poor and won't be available in the villa you have to go to the reception to avail of it.
The complementary breakfast.. you have 3 options which is written on the menu.. 1) eggs/ paratha / porridge etc
2) tea or coffee 3) orange juice/ pineapple juice... you will be told that we do not serve juice as part Of complimentary breakfast... it's your fault...because items can be changed without notice.
Nobody normally stays here for lunch we did, asked for tiger prawns we were showed a nice size we approved and Were served a shabby medium sized prawns under the pretext that tiger prawns were over but they had just showed them to us... then a Russian comes in and my tiger prawns get served to them... if you are Indian you will treated very poorly.. if you have a white skin it will be great...it's my fault that I did not heed the reviews on Trip advisor..don't go here there are a thousand other places... they will show a good picture on the website that will not be your reality so be careful.....I will propose to trip advisor to start negative ratings I did not want to give 1 also it was a terrible experience for my family.

Avoid this property

onesimplemanon 13/07/2016 19:51

We were a group of 12 .First day we had no power and there was no power back up either. You cannot keep the windows open as there are tons of mosquitoes around.
Two people vacated the room as there was no power and the management was not willing to refund.
The TV Channels do not work.
Any problems the staff will advice you to contact the owner who wont take the phone or return calls.
The property looks nothing like the picture.
The property throws their waste on the adjacent property which stinks . it is also an environmental hazard.

For 50 years I have been traveling and by chance came across this superb hotel.Never have I met staff as courtious and helpful especially when you need to be pampered when you are not too well.Starting with Pritom at reception to the housemaides and gardener. The restaurant staff were amazing from tandoori cook. The chefs waiters and cashier . But of coarse their boss Albert had a great team who like me respect him.Food and room excellent. Thanks to all at the Morjim Hermitage
