Had the most relaxing weekend here. Very private. Enjoyed every bit of it, the staff was really helpful and the food was amazing.
The hotel architecture was truly a work of art, beautiful scenery around it.

I had my wedding party at Mosvold and slept there 2 nights. It was amazing! The location is just stunning, right in front of the beach with a nice swimming pool and garden with hammocks... what else? We took the Suite with the Jacuzzi, the room was spacious wth great view over the swimming pool and the beach. The food was amazing, fresh and very well cooked. All my friends flew from overseas for the event and were not deceived. The staff was simply excellent! Special Thanks to Nilanka, Tony, Romesh, Lakmal, Raj, Mahindra and all the team. You guys made my wedding and stay memorable. Will definitely recommend Mosvold to all my friend willing to spend sweet time down south ;)

This hotel has good reviews and it is well deserved! The hotel is impeccable and faultless. The location is amazing and the beach is very clean.

The rooms are spacious and the breakfasts are excellent with big portion. the rooms price is also reasonable

The best part is the service, the staff without exception were friendly, efficient and polite!.

I truly enjoy my three days spent there!

Wonderful place, right on the beach, 5 star all the way.

I agree with everything that the reviewer from Telford wrote!!!

We had four days here, near the end of our holiday. I could have easily stayed longer.
We had the suite overlooking the pool, with it's own spa bath. The room was large, comfortable and absolutely spotless.
The staff without exception were friendly, charming and polite. Sri Lankan people are lovely.
I am Veggie and easily ate off the menu, but the Chef spoke to me personally and made me fantastic fusion meals. Some of the best I have ever had.

Breakfasts were excellent, with Tea, toast, juice, fruit, eggs etc. A couple of times I had Sri Lankan breakfasts and they were some of the best I've had.

We took Tuk Tuks (arranged by the hotel), with fee agreed beforehand, to Galle (twice) and the Tea Factory (very interesting with tasting etc). I walked around Ahangama and watched the Stilt Fishermen and surfing (six to eight foot).
We went to the Turtle hatchery, which was excellent.
I chatted to one of the owners (it's owned by Norwegian and Sri Lankans), who was very friendly and I said that the staff were a credit.

My stay was made even better by the great humour and friendship of the
ex-President.......... Nothing was too much trouble and we laughed a lot.
Thank you guys.

The moment I stepped out of the vehicle I knew that I would like this hotel. The welcome made me feel I was an honoured guest. The property is beautifully situated at the end of a long, white sandy beach. The rooms are spacious and comfortable, and dinner I could not fault. Service, too, was better than most hotels I have stayed in in Sri Lanka.
