My husband booked this hotel for 3 reasons, 1) accepts pets, 2) swimming pool, 3) convenience....well....let me enlighten everyone. 1) Gross!!! Blood splatter in bathroom, gob if hair in tub, 2 towels, 2 wash rags for 4 people, room is super small..2) Swimming pool is down for maintenance, 3)NOISY!!! 4) Maid service is a joke!!! Need I say more??? Won't be staying here again😠

Affordable, Basic Motel

Basic room with 2 queen beds cost total $76 including all taxes etc. Room was clean (laminate wood floors) and had flat screen TV with excellent quality visuals (and good cable channels). Basic means NO shampoo/cream rinse, no internet, no frig, no coffee maker, no breakfast. But for $76 we used every inch of the room, big shower with the curved shower curtain, lots of towels, lots of storage shelves and good lighting at the bedside. There seemed to be some sketchy people hanging out of the rooms in the PM (glad I had my dogs with us), but in the morning one could see, they were just like us - casually dressed, hot, tired travelers, chilling out after a long drive. The motel is located between a McDonald's & a Subway, so one can walk to get breakfast or lunch/dinner. There's plenty of free parking which came in handy due to the number of guests pulling U-hauls & trailers.

This is a basic hotel as is expected of a Motel 6. We needed a place that allowed pets and other higher end choices were already reserved. The front desk help was good, the room was clean including the bathroom and tub. There was an easy place for us to walk our dogs. Of note there is no free WiFi and no mention of purchase at check in so we didn't bother for a one night stay. I didn't expect a hair dryer but did expect Kleenex which wasn't there. Of note since this is a budget hotel there is a varied clientele. Quite a few people appeared to be full time and just hanging out which didn't help our safety comfort level, there was nothing overt - just unusual.

Great location by the McDonalds and Route 66 close by. Updated room with wood laminate floors dominated our room. Staff was attentive and the rooms immaculate. Only negative- ground area looks awful and a few trees would make it look better!

Noisy

We stay to visit NAU. The motel was close the highway and very noisy all night. The doors also slammed shut early in the morning for workers to go to work. It was not the best night of sleep I got. I stay with my high school daughter I did not feel like it was the safest location for two women.
