Basic.. But good location.

Good when you are attending the Canton fair, as they provide complementary shuttle to the fair grounds (for which you are charged extra during the fair period). Breakfast is ok. Location is good, as the metro station is just the next building. If you will enjoy the Chinese food, the restaurant in the hotel is good, also a few other restaurants close by. Also some good street food, specially the vendor in the corner of the parking area, making aweome grilled meat.
Rooms are very very basic, with dirty carpets, and not so enjoyable bathroom. For a two night stay during the canton fair, this one is not a bad choice. May stay again.
Simple and value for money hotel
wjtan7on 28/04/2011 15:55I stayed there during the April 2011 Canton Trade Fair. The building was old, and the room was quite worn off as well.
There was only 1 lift in the whole 7-level building. So it was always a long wait for the lift.
The staffs were very friendly though. I am happy with their service even though the room card didnt work until the last night of my stay, having to get the staff to open the door each time i need to enter the room.
The hotel provided daily buffet breakfast (food was alright) and bus services to the canton trade fair everyday.
It's few minutes walk to the metro station as well, quite easy to get around Guangzhou by catching the train.
There are plenty of restaurants 1 station away (DongXiaoNan Rd) so you can have plenty of choices for dinner.
