Old and showing its age

Not a lot to choose from in Bundi. Great location in old town on the lake, but the building is tired. Reception is a caged off area inside gate, pretty basic. The rooms meander around the old building and while spacious, are sparse. Wifi was weak and monkeys were a problem at times. Keep your doors and windows closed. Restaurant food was good and staff friendly. The place needs a little TLC.

Fair and good stay

Good located and very well welcomed by the staff and owner, rooms were clean and housekeeping was perfect. We spent two nights and was comfortable. View was amazing of the bundi fort in the night it glows beautifully from the top of the hotel. Food was good enough too in restaurant.

We went there for dinner during our stay in Bundi.
The staff was friendly.

The food was average. The peas and tomato curry were not up to the mark.
Chicken Garlic was rubbery.
The Dal though was the high point.

Charming old palace in Bundi

This beautiful old palace was a warm, welcoming place to stay that was full of the Indian charm I was looking for. It was a bit run down, but the rooms were decorated nicely and the lawn was a lovely place for breakfast. For the price I'd stay again.

Overpriced with rude staff

I ate in the restaurant and afterwards didn't bother to even ask about a room, the staff and owner were so rude and unresponsive. Barking "Not possible!" is no way to respond to someone asking about a fruit salad when you're about to put a huge mark up on their bottle of beer. Get over yourselves and get some training in customer relations. Looks like we're paying a lot of money for their grassy lawn, but I'd much prefer the down home family welcome i got a few meters further in Lakeview.
