Large and comfortable apartment in a good location
M07on 30/07/2015 17:52We had apartment 15, a corner apartment at the first floor (for us Norwegians that is floor 2, the lowest floor is named 0...). We also rented a parking space in the basement (a bit costly at 12,50 euros a day, but it was comfortable to not have to hunt for a space outside, and not have a hot car every day).
The apartment was very big, had a great layout, and impressed us immediately. We visited in a very hot period, but the whole apartment was cool, thanks to 3 air conditioners. There were flatscreen TVs in both bedrooms, andin the living room. The kitchen was well equipped. The flat was cleaned 4 times each week, and the cleaning personnell were all smiles and did a good job. The beds were comfortable. There were two bathrooms (one with a bathtub as well), but only one toilet (in a separate room).
The apartments are in a quiet area, a short walk from the main shopping street (Rue de Antibes) and the private beaches (Croisette). We were very happy about the fact that there is a large food store about 100 meters from the aparthotel (the Casino chain). The store had lots of fresh meat, seafood and pastries, very practical.
The best (sandy, wide, not too crowded and child friendly) public beaches are a bit further away, but we did walk to the Gazagnaire beach several times (almost 2 km to walk, but a nice trip along the Croisette). The other public beach I would recommend is Plage du Midi.
Cannes was a great city to have as a starting point for exploring the riviera. It has restaurants, shopping, beaches, nightlife, scenery...you have all you need within walking distance. We frequently drove to Antibes (pebble beaches mostly, but very scenic. The Garoupe beach is a good starting point for a hike or bath along the cliffs there..), Nice (the Cap 3000 shopping center was nice and cool when it was 34 degrees outside...), and visited Grasse (quanit streets/shopping), Mougins (nice place for a romatic dinner), Biot etc. We will definitely return, and the Neotelia Pavillon Bel Air apartments is probably where we will stay again.
Are there things that could be improved with the aparthotel? Sure. The free WiFi was weak, we could only use it from a few locations in the apartment. It would have been nice to have sun chairs on the balconies...The sink is very awkwardly placed in the kitchen, making it difficult to do the dishes (there is a dishwasher and washing machine though), and parts of the apartment was starting to look a bit worn. The reception closes at 1800, and we arrived much later. It was a bit difficult to figure out how we would get our room and parking keys then, but after mailing Neotelia we got instructions after a few days on how to get to a welcome envelope they left for us...It would have been nice to get that information in advance, or quicker...(on the other hand they were very quick to fix things when we asked them on site, like changing light bulbs). The parking is expensive, and if someone parks in the wrong location (not matching the numbe ron their garage key) the result is a parking mess...(we got complaints because we had parked on another location due to the fact that someone had taken ours...and the hotel does not keep a registry of the cars so they could not help us find the original culprit either...).
great apartment
hellokittyPlymouthon 25/09/2013 16:42Only stayed for 2 nights in this large 2 bedroom 2 bath apartment wish it could have been longer !! Good communication (e-mail and mobile) from reception and had no problems getting into the apartment on the Sunday. (no reception on Saturday and Sunday). Large terrace with outdoor furniture and well equipped kitchen. Beds were comfortable and the building work going on at the end of the street did not bother us at all. The local supermarket around the corner is well stocked and the stroll down to the "croisette" was comfortable. Cannes is a very expensive place to stay so this apartment was a bargain, would definatley stay here again.
Good place and confortable appartment
thierry-hirtzon 11/08/2013 14:13A very comfortable apartment, fully equiped and spacious, although the furniture on the large balcony needs to be replaced. The kitchen is well-equiped too, even if there is no micro-wave. Two particulary good points for this place : the famous "Croisette" boulevard is only a five-minutes walk away, and a little supermarket is just around the corner.
There is a car park under the apartments (12 euros a day), and that's a a good thing since the street is always packed and we could not leave our car there.
Be careful if you want to stay there in August 2013, there are some major works next to the flat and it's very noisy during the week, but quiet on Saturdays and Sundays.

One night in Cannes
m2ccon 07/12/2012 19:17I had a nice studio apartment with a large sofa bed and a separate kitchen;the apartment was clean and the furniture rather new, but it was rather unpleasant to open the bed for the night because it was very heavy!
Location is okay, it is in a residential area about 15 minutes walk (downhill) to the Croisette. The work constructions going on in the area did not bother me that much, the noise was not too bad; work started at 8am and I was already awake at that time.
I did get about 10 Euro discount when I checked in because I made my reservation on the web. The reception has limited opening hours, with a long break at lunch time. I did not find any information about it on the Web. I was lucky because when I arrived there someone there, otherwise it would have been very unpleasant to wait out of the building!
