Clare Bon 04/08/2017 21:52Very nice short stay. We had our room upgraded to a more luxurious room. Staff very efficient and friendly. Fab swimming pool and sauna. There is also a beauty salon. Food good. I would definitely recommend this hotel.
Needs refurbishment
temanisson 19/07/2017 23:34This lovely hotel seems a bit ages..which is a pity because I love the location. This time we stayed in a seaview deluxe room on the 5th floor. View was nice, great balcony and spacious room. Breakfast was also good. Unfortunately there was some unpleasant smell on the floor we were staying in. I'm guessing it came from the bathroom/toilet. It's seems like they have problem with the drainage. We reported this to FO and they sent people to check our bathroom. But then I noticed it was not only in our room, but I also smell it on the hall. I believe this hotel needs major renovation, I really hope they do...

D-Perry Con 14/07/2017 07:52The location is the best. Walking distance to the beach and all cafe/restaurants around the hotel. The staffs are friendly, the room and facilities (swimming pool,fitness and sauna) are clean. The check in/check out is quite slow since there is only 2 staff and lots guests.
Good, but done things missing
MarkBAFFon 09/07/2017 20:26Lovely area and had the potential to be a great stay. I was there for business and noticed that my shower was broken - the water was spraying everywhere but onto me. I let the reception know so they could fix it for my remaining day stay. Unfortunately, they didn't get around to it and this really annoyed me. I mentioned this at check out and nothing was done in terms of a gesture or to make it up to me. I would not stay here again unless I was forced to.
A high-level hotel with a stunning view @ Kijkduin
FranzvPon 09/07/2017 18:11It is probably one of my favourite hotels in Europe! I used it many times for professional reasons but it is great for families too. Its deadly weapon is its position, just on the dune of Kijkduin, facing the sea, hearing the waves. Easy to reach, with a reserved parking (price in line with other hotel parkings, however it could be possible also to park outside, maybe not easily in sunny summer days), around there are a lot of restaurants and bars and amenities for children, and it enjoys also its own summer terrasse in front of the sea. My room was exceptional, high floor with a view spanning from Rotterdam to Scheveningen. Clean, comfortable, with a master bathroom. Staff is nice. Breakfast can answer any need, with any food or drink you may like. Price is not cheap at all, but is understandable because of the position and the summer period. I just would appreciate some make-up or refurbishments in the common areas of the lobby and floors, that seem a bit "aged" and do not match with the usual corporate image of NH.
