Cheap, for a reason!
Mary Hon 20/06/2017 20:35We stayed here out of desperation...only room available on a baseball tournament weekend. (Note: book early at other hotels during big event weekends in Ellensburg. Nice places fill up quickly! There ore only 10 hotels in town)!
I must say, the staff was very helpful and accomodating. When we first arrived, there were no towels in the room. I wrnt to the front desk and the clerk apologized repeatedly.
The room smelled musty, and had been smoked in at some point, as there were numerous cigarette burns on the furniture, as well as the bedspreads and carpet. There were also 'other stains on The carpet, as well as stains on The towels, that didnt show up until the towel had been used! Ewe! The bathroom was not very clean, and the tub drained very slowly. No stopper in the sink and light bulbs were missing over the vanity. The linens had been turned inside out on the beds, which begs the question...do they wash them between guests or reverse them? This motel is old, worn out and in dire need of maintenance. The stairs are old and the hand rails are too low to accomdate a tall person, comfortably. The stair steps are too shallow and make for a tricky decent, if you have large feet! The lobby doesn't open for coffee until 8:00 am. Ice machine was out of order, but there is a nice washer and dryer on site. No hair dryer in the room. Next tim e I go to Ellensburg, I will book elsewhere.
So Bad!
990Diana511on 22/05/2017 21:48Blankets, bedspreads old had holes in them. Carpet smelled like cat pee. Fan in bathroom didn't work and cover was sitting on toilet tank. AC didn't work. Toilet seat loose. Tiny wastebasket. Unbelievable.
Road trip stopover.
Aftab Lon 29/08/2016 19:53Worst experience ever. Room was not clean. Looked good from the outside but the inside was dirty. The bedsheets had cigarette burn marks. The ice machine was broken and when I requested ice, I was given a small plastic bag with very little ice.
Absolutely worst hotel I have ever stayed in
Elspeth Pon 17/07/2016 00:46Where to begin. I could clearly feel the springs in the 4 inch mattress, my daughter got a bruise on her leg from the wire frame in the mattress. the blanket had a fist sized hole in it. The curtain wouldn't close because the rail was broken so hello everyone walking past, don't mind me in my pj's laying in bed. The floor had a rot hole in it and there was blood? or something that looked like blood smeared on the wall. I very much felt like we all needed to be disinfected after leaving.
A Very average Nite
bazzawaon 28/06/2016 19:30For a budget hotel they could make a few changes that would considerably improve the rooms.
Our blanket had large burn holes so we asked if they could change it which they did. The TV needed replacing, decor was drab 70s. A new bedspread and curtains would work wonders, a bit of maintenance (curtain rod was about to fall out of the wall) and painting would make such a difference.
