Excellent location and hospitality!!!

Iam writing this review after a very long gap but Northmoon has reminded us of the beautifull hills and Mr Sharma's hospitality every single day!! I visited Northmoon with my parents,hubby and kids. We enjoyed the stay to the fullest in every aspect. The location has the view of the gorgeous sunrise in the mornings with the apple orchids nearby. The food cooked by Mrs Sharma is absolutely delicious and wholesome which did not give us a chance to miss our home cooked food. She is very loving, patient and humble. The rooms are simple and comfortable. The beds are made cozy and warm with bed heaters and warm blankets. Mr. Sharma is a great host and a good company to have long entertaining conversations. We all loved our stay to the fullest and miss being there every single day!! We can't wait to go back and sink into the peaceful serene abode of the hills. Will surely visit again!!

This is a an awesome place with a local feel of an pure village environment, with homely love of Mr. Sharma and his kind family. Most memorable was the protruding apple trees to your room window. Shall visit again.

This was my 2nd visit to the homestay, having visited in July 2015 for the first time. The experience was so good that I couldn't wait to take my parents for a visit to Northmoon, as well. Mr. and Mrs. Sharma are very warm hosts; they would ensure that nothing falls short during your stay in their lovely abode. My parents thoroughly enjoyed their stay, too.
The rooms are spacious, views from the windows/balcony are breathtaking, bathrooms are clean and the food is yum. I can't think of anything further that I can ask for in a tranquil place like Talai.

North Moon Homestay was amazing. I went with my parents. It was tranquil and lovely. Mr. and Mrs. Sharma and their staff are great hosts. The rooms were spacious and the view from the windows and balcony was stunning. And the food is gorgeous.
Would recommend it without hesitation.

If you are looking for homestay away from crowded city of Shimla surrounded by nature and picturesque mountain view, north moon is the perfect option. Delicious food. Rustic yet comfortable. Mr and Mrs Sharma are good host. He also guided us on which places to visit.
