Good location
thonon 29/08/2013 06:55Stayed here as part of our cycling trip on Veleroute des Bleuets around Lac Saint Jean in early August. Did the same trip in 2011 and stayed here then as well. Good location in Alma, within walking distance to a number of restaurants/bars. Also a restaurant attached to the hotel where we had breakfast. Bedrooms were quite large which was good as we needed to store our bikes in them. Elevator was large enough to bring bicycles up in. Room was comfortable, fairly modern and clean. Had 2 queen beds and a mini fridge. Front desk gave us a password for the wifi but we never got it to work. Bathtub was very slippery – should have had a mat for inside the tub. I would stay here again if I was in the area.
It's Fine, Don't Worry
Eloise Hon 28/08/2012 22:50I was booked into this hotel as a beginning to a bicycling tour around Lake St. Jean. There were two reviews on Trip Advisor at the time, both pretty awful, so I was concerned. But I need not have worried. First off, the hotel is very convenient, in fact the bus station is the other side of the reception, so didn't have to lug baggage anywhere. The room was very large, good air conditioner, everything was perfectly clean and the receptionist at the desk was courteous. The color scheme isn't to my liking but that had nothing to do with the room itself.
Good place to stop before visiting Lac St jean
DevPSon 10/08/2012 13:18I stopped at the Notre Hotel for one night before visiting the different and wonderful places around Lac St Jean. The hotel is fine with restaurants all round the place. Free internet (wifi) is available to locate the different activities, restaurants and beaches around Lac St Jean. The church and the river nearby are nice places to visit as well. The room was comfortable and quiet.
A bit overpriced but conveniently located, downtown
vicpoulinspikeon 22/05/2012 13:29It was nice as we were 6 people and we rented a room with communicating door. There is a restaurant within the building. It's only minutes from the local bars. The only hotel option downtown.
