NARASAYYA ooked the great delicious sea food i like most that is really great.foodservice from good chef i have been continued to stay in novotel once i am in vizag.....
ITS A COOL PLACE AND VERY CLEANLENESS AND THE VIEW OF THE RK BDEACH FROM THE TOP OF THE NOVATEL IS VERY BEAUTIFULL.

BEACH HOLIDAY

This trip was planned at the last moment for a surprise birthday holiday .
The prices were fluctuating everyday on MakeMyTrip and ixigo . Finally we booked on ixigo.
All the rooms are SEA VIEW ...... awesome .
We called early and confirmed the room with special request for a midnight birthday cake .
When we arrived at the hotel , we were quite surprised to see a relatively small entrance gate to the hotel ( well we r from Hyderabad and are used to hotels of this category having huge entrances ) .
We went into the hotel lobby and ...... It was jam packed with many ppl ... all hotel guests .... it was the marriage season and the hotel was fully booked .
We were requested to wait until our room was prepared . They promptly gave us a welcome drink and then after 20 min we were escorted to our rooms .
Our Host @ hotel was Ms Soni who was quiet nice n helpful .
The room initially when entered was not tidy so had to ask the front desk to get it cleaned properly . The hotel has to make sure that rooms are neat n tidy before guests check in . This issue was something that I dint like .
The room was otherwise really good , the interior decor was good . The toilet was the highlight . There was a glass screen separating it from the main bedroom . We could just roll down the screen on the glass to get privacy in the toilet while using the Looooo .
The mini bar in the room was good ... the fridge was filled with beer , cold drinks , Red Bull , juice chips etc etc ...... of course it was all chargeable if used .
The sofa set and chairs were not up to standard . They were made of Metal frame . I prefer a cozy soft sofa and chairs rather than metallic ones .
In the midnight we were delivered our CAKE ( complimentary ) .
The restaurant Zafran is good with very tasty dishes but it's on the costlier side . The staff in this restaurant are a bit careless and served us raw chicken which they promptly replaced . Our table reservation was also not honored as they messed it up .
Upon taking this up with the duty manager of Novotel they gave us a complimentary Breakfast for two . The manager of the hotel and the restaurant manager of SQUARE were courteous and helpful and saw to it that there were no more HICCUPS with our food and restaurant experience .
Overall the front desk and hotel staff are good .
This was the best hotel in Vishakapatanam . We visited other hotels here but they were all quite old and outdated .
Nice sea view with best food in city
Mahesh1980on 23/08/2017 19:22I stayed many times in this hotel. Truly amazing sea view. Ambiance is nice. Staff are very attentive. One of the prime reason to choose this hotel is food. Be it Square restaurant or roof top, food is yummy. As Iam a frequent visitor to this hotel I noticed Chef Narsaiah and Manager Pasupathi taking great care of the guests. Keep it up guys.
