A big crew stayed here. Great family suite. Staff were friendly facilities great. The best was Johhnys bar on the beach. Taught the kids to surf. Loved a chat and always had a cold beer.

The pool and resteraunt were outstanding.

Amazing location and if you get apartment 312 it's great. Staff helpful and sincere and all amenities are great. Pool is shaded and in sun so helps with that. Room was great with views and very clean and tidy.

Across from the ocean and short walk to kuta or Seminyak. La plancha down the road and circle k's close by.

This hotel is in a great spot right on the beach in Legian. Someone in our group described it as 'modern but dated' which seems a contradiction but somehow actually describes it perfectly. Administration is a bit disorganised but the staff do their best. If you are a family or a group of couples get one of the top floor rooms with amazing views. I was part of a very large group and had no complaints but I prefer a bit more Balinese architecture in a hotel in Bali.

Property is looking tired and worn.

We stayed at this property 3 years ago and had a great time. Booked the same place as it is across the road from the beach and cafes/restaurants on this strip are great.
Booked a 1 bedroom suite but when checked in they gave us a smaller room which is a studio room. I went straight to reception to let them know that this is not the type of room we booked and paid for. There excuse was that they were booked out..... I then argued that they should have not excepted the booking if they did not have that room available and that this was not my problem. I asked that I wanted it fixed in the morning and moved to a 1 bedroom suite as per our booking. We were moved to a larger room in the morning but if I did not push the issue nothing would have been done. (not impressed and felt scammed). The property itself is becoming very tired looking and it does need a bit of maintenance. In saying that we did enjoy our time there and the staff are all very helpful and lovely. Just be careful when booking a type of room.....make sure its what you booked.

The most amazing holiday

My boyfriend and I stayed in this hotel for 2 weeks mid August 2017 and our overall experience of the hotel was absolutely fantastic. It has everything you need.
However, the first night we asked if we could move because the room we were shown was directly in front of the pool area and there were some families already using our terrace area and chatting loudly, I knew straight away that it was going to be noisy so we went to ask if we could move and sure enough, they made arrangements for us to move into another studio room on the ground floor somewhere else the next morning.
The staff are so friendly here and you can see they all have a real passion for hospitality and the tourism industry, after all, this business is booming in Bali, especially in summer.

The breakfast was great! Lots of choice for us westernised folk and home comforts which is nice to see when you're getting towards the end of your holiday I guess. There's also a lot of opportunity to try the Indonesian cuisine too- you should try!

The pool area and the general facilities were fine. The pool area is definitely catered more for adults (quick dip and then out to sunbathe) rather than children. I kept thinking it looked like a lazy river type pool with one long column if that makes sense. There is a small kids pool which is in the raised area though which was quite busy from what we saw. What I will say is the how brilliant the lobby area was... you can see the water through the glass which is pretty cool- good photo opportunity.

We had a few issues with the TV not working sometimes in the hotel room and we spent 2 days in the Gili Islands which we booked via the tour operator at the hotel which we had of a nightmare with to be honest but I've written a separate review for that "semaya one" so I won't mention it again here. We got a refund though so that's a bonus.

We would definitely recommend this hotel if you're looking for a 4 star or below but if you're wanting something more luxurious perhaps try the double six hotel down the road from here.

At furama, you get what you pay for. The location is perfect too- the beach is literally 5 feet from the lobby. Just perfect!

I've fallen in love with Bali, an utterly breathtaking place. You must tick this one off your bucket list!
