A fair weekend getaway
Munir Ton 03/05/2017 18:42Spent the weekend at the resort.the hotel is in malindi town with only a kilometer of murram road off the main malindi- lamu tarmac road.we selected junior suite.welcome drinks were served and check in was swift.the junior suite cottage was spacious and clean.we were on bb basis.due to low occupancy breakfast lacked variety .the low occupancy is sypmtomatic of all hotels in malindi due to unwarranted negative travel advisories.all in all i would visit the hotel again.
"Best Swimming Pool Ever"
MBHMSAon 06/02/2017 07:57I enjoyed my swimming on a saturday afternoon in this Beautifully Garden Hotel overlooking the Beach. Was quiet and Peaceful. The pool was clean and large enough. I ended the day with a well served cup of Expresso coffee from the Restaurant. I recommend it to people who need a Quite & Peaceful place.
Business trip to Malindi
Adam Jon 18/08/2016 09:05Stayed here on a business trip to Malindi. I do enjoy the rooms, service and food. I miss a gym, not that easy to run outside in the morning. Does claim to be 5 star, so would expect this facility. Very spacious and well designed rooms. Wi if is poor, as a business traveler very important requirement.
Amazing spot as always

Having stayed here before in 2014, I was happy to see that the property is still well maintained, well appointed spacious rooms, first class bed linens, amazing spa facility, breathtaking scenery, tasty food and amazing customer service. I'd like to thank the GM Harvey for making my stay here worthwhile. I highly recommend it!
Average Experience
Sheila Mon 23/05/2016 22:12The facility is beautiful and has immense potential though this is not being fully utilized. Despite reserving way in advance, rooms had been overbooked and we had to wait quite a while to get to the room.
The food was not great especially the buffet selection- rather drab and lacking creativity and variety.
Ala Carte was a better option in culinary skill.
Rooms fairly basic and staff not quite eloquent and able to provide solutions to guest needs and requirements. Seemed demotivated and overworked.
Did not feel management presence- could be more present and engaged with clients.
Wider entertainment variety could have been welcome.
Limited beach front also considering river galana flow making the water rather muddy in some instances.
Lovely garden space and accommodation options to suit different needs.
