Two Night Stay in Beautiful Crikvenica
oneillsaon 24/03/2017 20:42My brother had his wedding reception here. Great hotel/venue. First time in Croatia and everyone so kind. Scenery is breathtaking. Hotel very close to the beach (shingle) - steep steps down. Very clean. Good traditional breakfast - lots of choice, continental and cooked. Our twin room was very spacious, comfortable and clean, quiet too. Would stay again. Staff were very helpful.
Better looking but th staff got worse
karin mon 22/10/2016 18:11This was our 3rd time staying in Omorika. To start with the positive - We liked it also before renovation but they did a good job - happy to have air conditioning in rooms!! The food was good although needs a bit more variety for a 4* hotel. The rooms are nicer and we got a mini bar too so that was nice.
On the negative side - the service was pretty horrible. The servers in the restaurant were incompetent and not suitable for the job - some I know from last year. Not much improvement - too into making jokes and animation of the guests instead of actually working!
The reception staff was unhelpful and didn't care to answer our questions much. Especially the brown haired girl. Far from the service we used to have during previous stays (whoever fired that girl who used to work there last two years made a bad move - always there to help + good with languages and always smiling! Not the only one who asked about her while we were there. Hoping management gets her back). As for the bar - the young boy working (from last year also) seemed more intresed into young ladies than other guests - but he was fast so I can't be mad aout the whole service.
All in all - they may have gotten 4 starts but they need to get 4* staff and service. Hoping this improves by next year.

Michael Son 30/09/2016 15:23I stayed at the hotel to attend a wedding.. the staff were friendly and the rooms were clean and comfortable. The only issue we had were the rude staff that worked downstairs in the breakfast room.. the local beach was lovely and the locals were friendly too

Custaon 13/09/2016 22:36Hotel is totally renovated. Rooms are big, clean and modern. Bathroom is good size, modern and clean. Food is good, tasty and enought of choice. We had drinks included in price of are dinner which was fine. There are enought parking places around the hotel. Staff is very polite and frendly. View from terace is great and it was great from our room too. Prices of are drinks in hotel are fer. Hotel is dog frendly. They charge 6 euro per dog per night.
Beach in front of the hotel is nice. There are lots of caffe bars and fast food restaurants on the beach, with fer prices. Crikvenica is really close. Very nice place to your spend holliday .
