Surrounded by swaying coconut grooves, this resort at Kumbakonam is located near to the Darasuram and near to the Venkateswara Petrol Pump. There are 10 luxurious rooms to choose from. Indian, South Indian, Tandoor and Chinese cuisines can be relished at the Hotel Akash Restaurant, which is open from 6a.m to 10p.m. Guests can enjoy a swim or indulge in the Orchid Nature Walk organized by the resort. It also has a mini-hall with audio/video equipments and an open lawn for parties and other events. <br/>

C'est juste lamentable à tous niveaux... Accueil, propreté, piscine... Passez votre route.
Very dirty, not welcoming, swimming pool water is green. Go far away of this place...its the worst place I never ever seen. Big shame on them

Great staff and fab rooms

We really enjoyed staying here. The staff - especially Muthu went out of their way to make us feel at home. They gave us some very useful local advise and information. The breakfast in the morning was tasty. There was a local festival on the Sunday which was great. We were made to feel very welcome. We would highly recommend it.

Beautiful Place to Stay for Vacation

I stayed with my Wife and Kids and we enjoyed the stay in the Resort. My son enjoyed the Garden and Swimming pool. The Service was really good and every time they are on time. Food was nice with affordable budget. Instaed of paying 2000 for some Hotels we can afford this place for good stay and nice location. One Suggestion they can include more play area for Kids and some sports items. (Snookers kind of thing).

Unhygienic & Badly Managed Resort.

WORST STAY at a RESORT..
Very Very Dirty Resort.
Rooms are not cleaned before giving it to a New Guest.
Reception of the Resort is Filthy.
Staff moves around Bare foot.
Bed sheets are dirty but are put for New Guests.
Room is not swept. Hair & dirt is flying around.
Bathroom is dirty.
Shower area has a heap of mud & is not washed.
Sink is leaking with water
Lizards all over the place.
Food is really a LET DOWN.
Basic South Indian Dosa is not made properly.
Dining are is not cleaned after the Guests finish their meals before the next guests come in.
FULL Payment is taken prior to check in so that one cant even leave the place & go.
Extremely BAD or NO MANAGEMENT by the Owner's Son.
A Very well made resort is destroyed & not maintained.
Just built & kept but not interested in running it.
Not a place to stay even if you don't have a choice.
Not worth it even if is a FREE STAY...
TOTALLY AVOID this place.

I would say this is one of the most under rated resorts. The location amidst coconut trees is really good, quiet and gave peace of mind with a good farmhouse feel. My kid really enjoyed the ducks, love birds etc which have been maintained there. The rooms are really spacious for the price. Really good place for somebody from cities and want a descent stay and with easy access to the nava graha temples. Better to have our own car to stay here.
