Cheap, ok location

Familytrip, 2 adults and 3 kids in a family room. Price is ok, and then you can not expect too much. Old furnished room. Cr/bathroom as expected for this price range. Our bathroom was pritty disgusting, since we found leftover public hair on the wall, beside the lavatory. Even we informed them, they did not clean while we stayed there. So after two nights we found another hotel. Quite old and should need a makeover. Our old fashion tv set was out of order, so they changed it to another one that also was out of order. In the lobby, they had a aquarium, but nobody care to clean. Could be a nice thing to watch while waiting, but instead you feel like rushing out! We got a minivan, and was in need of their free parking, but very narrow frontyard, extremely narrow gate and passing to the garage. If there is another car there already, you have no more space to turn and park. Maybe better to go there as a backpacker?

Good for back packers

Stayed here for 3 days when I was taking my IELTS exam last year. The room was spacious and the AC was okay. Hot shower was available and working. The café served a variety of selection. Free wifi can be accessed all over the establishment and it is quite fast too. The front desk staff are warm and accommodating, I did not get unwanted delays when I checked in since I booked mine through the internet. I can say that the place is great for backpackers/guests who are on a budget. The place is located near the heart of the city which is a big plus factor. Overall, it was a good experience.

Convenient for Backpackers

Very convenient since it's near banks, commercial buildings, malls and tourist spots.

But a problem occurred, their AC was broken so we had to transfer to another room.

No heater, no special thing about it. Just a fair amount for your money and it is recommended for backpackers who are looking for a cheap stay but there are lodges that are more cheaper nearby.

CONVENIENT TO STAY

We stayed recently, during Sinulog. Location is very accessible to all especially during the grand parade. Food is Ok. Staffs are ver accommodating, esp the reception.

Room was a little old but convenient. Saw some room being renovated also. There's free wifi inside the room and in the lobby. Over-all it's very convenient for us. We will go back next Sinulog for sure.

Better places elsewhere

We stayed there just after Christmas. Room was on 3rd floor, comfy bed, and zero WiFi signal. CR sink didn't drain, housekeeping staff was noisy. We left for the morning and asked that the room be cleaned. We returned at 11:30am and found housekeeper sprawled across the bed watching TV. Entire room could have used a thorough scrubbing from top to bottom. There is one WiFi router for entire bldg, near the front desk. Manager was less than friendly, ignored us for a minute or so while we stood at desk. While sitting in the lobby using WiFi at night saw mgr drinking beer with a friend in dining area while listening to loud music. Friend was smoking and it's a no smoking area. Suggestion: Look around, there are much better places for similar cost with nicer staff.
