Great hotel, great food. Stayed in this hotel for 2 night and have to say that the stay was very comfortable. Staff is friendly, front desk is fast and the best part of al is their restaurants. Gufa n jungle. Both restaurants serve amazing food.

Room reserve is also great. Very quick n attentive room service. Food ordered from room gets delivered vth in 20 min of time. Fresh, hot and tasty food all time. N no compromise in taste wat do ever d food is.

The rooms r very very designed with all facilities in it. Very clean and tidy. Bed is very comfortable. This vl b d first choice for me in Mysore from now on for ever.

Stayed at the pai vista hotel in Mysore for one night in January.

Pros:
Decent place with good rooms
Courteous staff
Well maintained

Cons:
The food here is just average. The good reviews for the "Gufa" restaurant had increased our expectations but did not live up to the mark.
The view from the room wasnt a great one.
The bellboy made us climb up 3 flights of stairs inspite of the elevator being in working condition; couldnt fathom why.

Good Hotel for Family Stay

I stayed for 2 nights at Hotel Pai Vista, Mysore in July. I was on a family vacation. I booked one standard room. I had booked through Make My Trip. On arrival I found that the room size was slightly smaller so I requested for a change to Luxury room. The hotel agreed after payment of the rate difference. The luxury room could accommodate all 4 family members I.e 2 Adults & 2 Children comfortably. The hotel is located in the City. It has ample car parking. It provides free Wifi with no limit on number of users. Hotel has 2 Restaurants, one called " Jungle" on the 4th floor which serves buffet meals. Another restaurant cum bar called " Gufa" is located on the 2nd floor. There is a swimming pool on the 4th floor which is 4ft deep. There is no temperature control in the pool. Food quality of both restaurants is good. The hotel also provides cars for local sight seeing on payment basis. I stayed in room 207 in which the refrigerator was not working.

Pai Vista - Very pleasant hotel indeed

Pai Vista is one of the best options to stay in Mysuru, located very close to the Suburban bus station, and the Mysuru Palace is at hardly couple of minutes walking distance from the hotel. I was pleasantly surprised after checking into the hotel; had made the right decision booking rooms in this hotel. The tariff was inexpensive and it was inclusive of the breakfast. There is a vast parking space for the cars.

I had booked 2 comfort rooms, both were internally connected. Check-in was fast and smooth. Rooms were compact and elegantly furnished. Bathroom was neat, clean towels, all toiletries provided. There is a queen size bed with a study table, sofa chairs and a center table. The room is good enough for a couple plus a kid.

Coming to the food, breakfast buffet was top class. The breakfast spread had all the varieties we were looking for, and the kids enjoyed the most. There are 2 restaurants, and one should definitely try the "Gufha". Both the restaurants tend to get crowded during lunch as well as dinner. It is better to book tables in advance here. Good hospitality and nice food (I'm a vegetarian). One thing lacking in the restaurants was the authentic local cuisine. South Indian food is available only in the breakfast buffet. Traditional Mysorean food is missing during lunch and dinner.

The other facilities being a roof top swimming pool which is pretty good, small gymnasium, and a spa (not worth visiting). Nothing much in the hotel in terms of recreation.

Overall, a fine hotel for both family and business alike. No second thoughts from my end for a second visit.

A nice Hotel in Mysuru

Stayed at this hotel for two days while I was in Mysuru recently on an official assignment. Found that the hotel was clean and provided all amenities with good food and service. The location is right in the middle of the city just in front of the bus stand. A nice place to stay in Mysuru.
