A friendly resort
Rakesh Aon 29/08/2017 19:04We were looking for a good stay for the family lot for 4 day stay and came across this resort in Trip Advisor. Sent a mail for availability for our date and we got the reply from Mr.Sathya overnight. In plain words, we just buzzed him with all our doubts of the entire Islands. He was very friendly and cleared all our doubts. Airport pickup was waiting for us. Rooms were comfortable. We booked 4 Canal rooms and a Nicobari. Nicobari was great. Mr.Sathya and staff helped us in planning itineraries and also in getting ferry tickets. My favourite of the resort is the Crab Masala. I insist. Everyone must try it. Its a delicacy. The only problem I found was that outside the resort, there is not many hotels nearby to have a bite.
Unbelievable Management Behaviour !!!
Ronnie Won 24/08/2017 11:46Rooms were booked on an email 16 August 2017 15:47 and even confirmed by Sathya. Later on on the 24th of August when a call was made to make an advance deposit, Sathya says rooms are sold out and disconnects the phone.
What is this behaviour, is this the way you work in this sector ?
Never ever using this property and as a suggestion, kindly put in necessary trained staff to answer queries !! Whats the point of an email conversation, which age are you guys operating !! Unbelievable !!! No Thanks !!
Wonderful Stay @ Palm Grove Eco Resort
shiva945on 24/07/2017 17:04We spent 5 nights there and really had a pleasant stay. Resort staffs are very friendly & helpful, particularly drivers & housemen. We don't know hindi and they don't know English, however they got mutually understood and served with kind. Mr.Sathya, The Manager of the resort favoring to every guest in all aspect from the beginning to till our last day when we left off from there. One of my friend suggested this resort to me and I'm gonna recommend this stay to all my friends and family those have plan to sail Andaman.

Shreya Lon 12/06/2017 10:37Horrible experience. Lots of lizards cockroaches and so many other such animals. Rooms are dirty. Water stinks like drainage. No mineral water. Beds are broken. Staff was unsupportive . Food had dead ants. Even if I was given this for free I won't stay in such a place.
Worst place ever! Dont stay here even if free'!
Anshu Mon 12/06/2017 08:55Worst place ever to stay! We were a group of 5 female friends and we were duped by the pictures of the hotel and our travel agent in booking this hotel. Away from the city with no basic amenities. The pictures are a total lie. The beds were broken, rooms were extremely uncomfortable, water in basin and shower was stinking and sticky and hence could not be used to even wash hands(the soap would not come off), no water bottles/tea/coffee, breakfast was horrible - we found dead ants in our puri - hardly any choice of food. The rooms were full of lizards, cockroaches and mosquitoes. To add to this, the hotel staff has absolutely no regard towards their guests or manners to speak. Wifi was promised but not given on the pretext that the manager only knows the password and the manager never was there in the hotel nor could he be contacted on his cell.
Even if the stay is given for free or rather if the hotel pays money to guests to stay also- one should not risk their life here.
PATHETIC!!! Shame
