Great place to celebrate a birthday
DocHedleyon 27/08/2015 22:20We visited on a hot Summer night. The view over the lac des Quatre Cantons is absolutely spectacular. Watching the lights come on at dusk was memorable. Later, we also had the moon shedding beams from over the mountains and onto the lake. Unforgettable evening!
The food here is excellent. Tasty smoked tsar salmon as a starter, very high quality steak, good giant prawns. Perhaps they could have a larger range of deserts. Good locals wines add to this attractive restaurant. Impeccable service.

255100Markon 07/06/2015 20:03Although 'tired' and soon to have a major rebuild this hotel & restaurant welcome, service, food & overall ambience is fabulous. The large lake side grounds, mature gardens makes for a wonderful restful stay. Fantastic experience.

FRANK Hon 14/10/2014 03:11Our Family dined at Rotschuo three times during June-August this year and came away with very positive impressions every time. The Hotel complex sits on a secluded & relatively steep Lakeside north slope of the Lake of Luzern. It is situated at a lazy & beautiful 35-40 minute drive around the Lake shore from Luzern. It has excellent well tended and very old gardens and absolutely spectacular views of the Lake and Mount Pilatus etc from the site and from the main Restaurant within the Hotel. There is also a Lakeside Bistro which is a wonderful place for a cold beer/white wine and lunch on the warm sunny summer days (which we did - was great). The service in the main Restaurant is excellent with all staff being proficient in English , and the Menu range and food quality is very very good. The pricing of same is somewhat up there but the ambience , the views from the Table over the Lake , the food quality and service make it in our view very good overall value and a definite "yes" for a visit.

Susan Son 11/10/2014 14:41A most hospitable inn set on beautiful Lake Lucerne. The service was top-notch. The dining was superb. You are away from the high tourist areas yet near enough to see and enjoy the incredible Switzerland scenery. We only wish we had spent more time there.

BoomsMomon 15/09/2014 19:52This is a beautiful spot. It's a little hard to find on the main road, we drove past it and had to turn around. The hotel staff was nice. Professional - not super friendly, but fine. The pool is great. The beach looks gorgeous, but the weather was not good, so we didn't get to swim. The breakfast is fabulous. the hotel itself needs a paint job - it's a little tired. But the rooms are very well done. beautiful view from our deck.
