The service was fantastic and staff so helpful. The rooms were so warm and lovely friendly atmosphere throughout. Excellent food even for us Irish who are'nt used to various dishes. The only down side was no tea/coffee in room,was told I could upgrade to have this service. Receptionist was so helpful and went and got me a pot of tea herself. That really made my day even though it was late at night.Staff were excellent and spoke really good English. Would recommend.
What a party, what service
darren bon 01/01/2017 19:291st time at this love hotel. dinner with 25 close friends service food hotel was great. Yes its a small town buy hey its great place to be. My wife told me the spa good too.

Modern Hotel in Quaint Slovak Town
Gloria Zon 05/07/2016 07:14We stayed 4 nights in an 'apt' sized room -- perfect! No kitchen, but refrgerator, sofa, and separate bedroom and bath areas.
Everything in the hotel has been remodeled recently -- except still no A/C and the weather was quite warm! (Americans are quite spoiled by having A/C everywhere....no one has it in Slovakia!) HUGE bathroom and sun-blocking draperies.
Excellent breakfasts included in our 'reservation' -- WIFI also excellent even on the balcony/terrace areas of the restaurant and cafe.
Easy walk to the downtown square and restaurants. Very near Hrad Orava and other sites. Nearby grocery stores for water (altho drinking water is fine...), fresh fruits, etc.
Would definitely return here....kind, helpful staff...many speak English.
Business trip
paulharrison58on 26/02/2016 18:15I stayed at this hotel for 4 nights whilst in Dolny Kubin on a business trip. I found the hotel to be of a good standard with well appointed modern rooms. The staff were helpful and efficient. The hotel has it's own parking and is centrally within walking distance of restaurants. The breakfast was of a good standard with plenty of choice both hot and cold. I did not use the restaurant at other times so cannot comment on the standard of food other than breakfast. Although I did not use many of the the hotel facilities I noticed that hotel had a spa, conference facilities and bowling.
On the negative side I found the lift to be difficult to use initially and sometimes temperamental with regard to the controls and there was no information about the hotel facilities and surrounding area in the room which would have been useful. I had a room at the front of the hotel and found the church bell woke me up each day before 6:00 am. I could also hear the noise from the gym opposite sometimes. Overall a good hotel and excellent value for money. I would have no hesitation staying again but would prefer a room to the back of the hotel next time.
Good and recently renovated
PitaRGon 13/11/2015 12:44Although the building doesn't look new, the room they put me in (501 I think) seemed completely new. The furniture and carpet smelled new which was great. My room was very spacious with a foyer and two separate areas (TV and sleeping) as well as a nice size bathroom.
Very nice view to the river and close by to some restaurants.
I don't suppose there are many options to stay in this town but definitely this hotel exceeded my expectations.
Staff very friendly and can speak english. Lunch at restaurant was very good!
Would recommend it and would go back again!
