Very convenient to walking around Dahlonega
ken711on 30/05/2017 15:39I believe what we liked about Park Place the most was that it was right there off the square in Dahlonega so we could walk around to the restaurants and stores for shopping...it was just so convenient. They have parking around back which was also nice. We were arriving late after 6pm so they called us and left us detailed instructions on how to get in to access our room which was terrific. Outside they also have some tables and chairs around a small grassy area if you'd like to sit out there and have a cup of coffee in the morning or a glass of wine and visit on a nice evening. It isn't a fancy or elegant hotel but well kept, clean, and convenient. The shower was updated and nice, but would suggest a small shelf be installed in the shower to put the soap and shampoo on.(room 11)

KKG5255on 28/05/2017 15:47This was a really cute hotel right on the square in Dahlonega. Super clean, easy access and decorated nicely. My only complaint and this is minor for most... the air conditioner unit sits above your head at the bed and blows directly on you all night. Some people would love that. I personally think it should be on other side of wall so you stay cool but not directly blowing on you all night. But otherwise fantastic place to stay.

They were able to not only answer our questions about the town but also arranged a wine tour for us and even arranged transportation. We had a spacious suite that was very clean and comfortable and met our needs quite well. Prices were very affordable, a real value. Service was above and beyond our expectations. We could not have been more pleased, We really enjoyed being within walking distance to many fine restaurants and interesting shops. The wine tour was awesome and our driver was very delightful and professional. We will definitely be back next year.

MoxieGirl1997on 11/04/2017 14:53When we checked into this place we were very pleased. It was sleek and modern. Clean and fresh looking. The location was great. We walked to shops, restrautants, and local historical sights. We were a short 15 minutes drive to the North Georgia Premium Mall. There was beautiful scenery on our drive to Blairsville and Blue Ridge.
Good Two Nights
Jim_atlon 08/04/2017 21:12I stayed at the Park Place for two nights to attend a wedding. It is located right on the town square near restaurants and tasting rooms. There are several parking lots that can be used in the area. The check in area has been moved to the tuxedo shop next to the hotel. They are open from 10 am to 6 pm. You need to arrange with them if you are checking in later than that. My room (12) was small, but nice. The bathroom was quite large and had good towels. The TV was small, but there were all the channels I wanted to watch. Overall it was a good place to stay.
