Second time here!
Angela Aon 12/06/2017 01:26This is the second time that I have stayed at the Parkerton Inn. I was immediately greeted upon arriving and everyone at the front desk was always friendly. My room was clean and just what I needed. No bells and whistles, just the basic necessities. I plan to stay here again when I am in the area.

Wifi , fax available really made my day....not to have to search for a spot to finish my work day. Finished up right there. Highly recommend .

Lillian Won 31/07/2016 23:32Last minute trip with my 16 year old granddaughter from Ohio, and I couldnt find a decent place to stay at a decent price...then I found The Parkerton Inn.
On State Route 58, The Parkerton Inn is just a few miles to the intercoastal waterway causeway, which takes you to Emerald Isle, at the beginning, to Fort Macon and Fort Macon State Park and its beautiful beach, 19 miles later. Located close to the towns and beaches on the island, 25 miles from Morehead City, and about 10 miles from Swansburg, the Inn offers easy access to the many attractions in the area.
The staff we met were gracious and pleasant. Our room was clean and nicely appointed, even if not quite as updated as expected. Clean microwave and fridge, flat screen TV, all of which worked well. Shower was updated.
Pool was beautiful, but swimming stops at 9 pm. We like to swim later. For the most part, the Inn has a quiet atmosphere. Plenty of parking available. This is also a pet friendly Inn.
I recommend The Parkerton Inn, giving it 4 stars.
My second stay....
Cristina Con 18/07/2016 15:11This is my second time staying here. I last stayed here two yrs ago and a few things have changed... no more CRT TV hah. However the remote was not set up properly in the room it seems like... but it was still a great stay.
As before, the room is still very clean and for the money was worth every penny. Unlike last time, traffic wasn't too bad trying to get to the beach and it's relatively close to many places to get food. There's the go-kart place next door, McDonald's and Subway down the street... and my favorite of just going to Lowe's and picking up something and sticking in the fridge. And if you enjoy an adult beverage - there's a bar across the street so you don't have to worry about driving.
I didn't have any issues with road noise - but I was towards the middle of the building. The only thing I would change is either more pillows or a softer mattress... I personally like harder mattresses - but if you don't then this might not be the bed for you.
Simply the best motel experience!
travelguyneoon 18/07/2016 02:51I was looking for a family friendly motel that was close to the beach for my family trip. Parkerton Inn was a fantastic experience from the beginning. The staff was great.
My room was perfect including a mini fridge, excellent TV cable service, a microwave and a coffee maker.
Parkerton Inn is one of the only motels to have a 100% sanitation rating, which is a big factor when booking my stay. The kids really enjoyed the pool. The price is excellent with all the amenities provided and the cleanliness of the motel.
If I'm in the area again, I will be definitely staying at this place again.
