We came to Pelling from Gangtok and reached after dark. Initially little difficult to find the hotel since it is little away from the main town area. Our driver somehow managed to find the hotel for us. Once entered the hotel reception area, we started getting positive vibes from the ambience. The reception area and staircase areas were beautifully decorated with live hanging plants which were beautiful. Mrs. Tamang welcomed us with traditional white silk cloth around neck as mark of respect they do for all their guests. This is so amazing and something so unique.

Before I start with my review, wanted to share something which made me a fan of the Tamang family. All 3 of us (my wife, kid and me) fell ill on the very first night because of altitude sickness. My daughter vomited multiple times that night. When Mrs. Tamang came to know about this, she immediately rushed to our room early morning and took us to a doctor. She accompanied us to the doctor and was so kind enough to wait for us there leaving behind her daily chores and hotel work. This touched our hearts and we are very very grateful to her for that gesture. You are a star Tamang Family !!!

Now coming to the review, I have only Pros for this wonderful hotel.

1. Amazing Kanchenjunga view from the hotel room.
2. Amazing beautiful and cozy room.
3. Clean linens.
4. Hygienic bathroom.
5. Superb staff and very helpful owners.
6. Superb breakfast. They even obliged us and made "nengro" saag with panner on our special request and didn't even charge for that.

Overall, a must stay experience in Pelling just because of the owners and staff and food and ambience and so on and on...

Excellent property maintained as well. Nice location,The rooms were very spacious and gives you a royal feel.staff is very cooperative

The food is equally good and the breakfast & dinner Food is really good and they offer Bengali food also.everything was blissful and words won't do justice,Review will not be complete without mentioning Ms B Tamang, Director of the hotel, who takes very good care of every little needs of the guests.

We really wish to visit the property again

Best hotel in Pelling with Excellent Food

We had been there for two nights in May 2017. But had a great experience. Excellent Food , Great hospitality, Home like feeling, caring staff. Superb Veg. food. Particularly owner is very down to earth person and he guided us very well for local sight seeing.

Hope we will visit soon......

Best budget hotel of pelling

Staff is very nice. I had never heard from there mouth no to make guest stay comfortable and memorable. Location of hotel is good. Rooms are clean . Plus point of hotel is food for which i will give 5 out of 5. Only minus point is WiFi doesn't work and from 6 to 9am there is no electricity in the area. But in future if we visit pelling we now where we will stay.

i stayed in this hotel for 3 nights in may2017 with my family. good location at upper pelling near old helipad. rooms and toilet was clean. no issue with hot and cold water. but the best part was service. this is not a five star hotel and myself is not a VIP but they made me fill like that. always ready with smiling face. real good yummy food. momo, thupka, falay was excellent but when i ordered dal fry and paneer butter masala they made it so delicious that it can compete with any north Indian restaurant. highly recommended for family.
