What People are saying

Simple & comfortable enough

If you keep your expectations in check, then this Hotel is a nice enough space to spend a night.

Great views straight across the street to the Nile River and the cruise boats, and you are more likely to be here before embarkation

Not that great

After reading the reviews of this hotel I figured it would be a pretty good hotel, for the price.
At $50/night it's not exactly a budget hotel, so I was a little disappointed.

The rooms were decently clean, especially the bathroom so I appreciate that.
The front desk ladies were really nice. So was the housekeeping lady. Thank you for that.

There are some convince stores near the hotel.
They let us check in super early (around 9am) which was seriously great.

the breakfast box wasn't anything to write home about, but it was fine.
The water went off for about an hour because the water pump broke, but these things happen.

I guess the worst part was when we were checking out, the man at the front desk was really unhelpful. (He was working the
morning of may 12, around 8am)

I'm pretty sure we were one of the only guests in the hotel. I asked him if he could put my post cards in the post box, he said no. Then we asked if he could help us get a taxi to the airport and he no, go outside to get one yourself. Then he went back to playing on his phone.

I guess this hotel was ok but it was the last little bit that really made me dislike the hotel. Maybe he didn't speak English? The ladies were fluent and were really lovely. I think this man could use some extra training.
Anyways, don't expect too much if you book this hotel. It's ok but I definitely would stay elsewhere. I've been traveling in Egypt and I know what to expect in regards of hotels, usually the kindness of the people working there make up for the lack of amenities. Can't say that for this hotel unfortunately

Good Hotel Near The Nile

My husband and I stayed there on 7 March 2017, for our Nile cruise on 8 March 2017. We arranged for the hotel pick up service from the airport, arrived at the hotel at 9:30 am and after check in procedures, waited about 1 hour for our room to be ready... which was understandable since we arrived early. The hotel facade was very ordinary and the lobby was small....nothing to shout about, but the reception staff was friendly and helpful. There's no lift but we were told that we can leave our bags and the staff will deliver them to our room. Since we're on the second floor and only have 1 carry on bag and a backpack, we carried them ourselves. The room itself was clean, facing the river, with tea/coffee making facilities, good bed and mattress and a flat screen TV. The bathroom was okay... shower in the bathtub, but the door was something which I did not expect to find in a hotel....plastic folding door. Anyway, it was just for 1 night. We went out for lunch, there's a McD 5 minutes walk away and KFC 10 minutes walk from the hotel.. we opted for McD since my husband wasn't keen on chicken and on the way there we passed by a small take-away set up selling grilled chicken & meat egyptian style. Breakfast next morning was set breakfast not buffet but good enough for us. Service was a bit slow considering we were the first guests, however the 2 female staff were polite. Overall considering the location and price, this hotel did not disappoint us and we would recommend it to our family and friends.

Good location and friendly staff.

I arrived early after a flight from Cairo. I was lucky to get an early check-in around 10am. I booked a Nile View room which was neat and tidy of about 3.5 star standard. The room had a safe, bath shower with a very ordinary shower nozzle and comfortable bed & pillows. The small mini bar fridges are not cold and set up as a cooler. I requested a proper small fridge be placed in my room which was promptly installed. There were limited English speaking TV channels. The view of the Nile was good however the road is busy and gets noisy. I found the Reception staff and Housekeeping staff provided good service and were willing to help with requests. My reservation included breakfast, it was a simple Continental Egyptian style delivered to the table. I found the service very poor, a male staff serving was not in any type of uniform and looked like a guest dressed in casual clothing. Food was delivered with no conversation or eye contact made. Food was delivered sporadically which caused confusion with many people asking questions. They should focus on one table at a time and deliver the full breakfast at one time. The content of my breakfast was mismatched, I received honey, butter, strawberry jam and cream cheese but no bread or similar to put the condiments on. I received a boiled egg with no chance of an omelette for fried eggs etc. There were no beverages other than tea or coffee. The breakfast was very disappointing.

Beautiful View but a bit noisy

We stayed there for 1night only, the room was very nice and luxurius. There was only one important problem the windows were too thin and even though they were closed we could hear the traffic.Staff was good and breakfast was different but tasty than other hotels.
