I reccomend it
gabriele1976_11on 26/08/2013 11:02I am quite happy about this hotel.
the only disadvantage is that is far from the city center (about 5 km) but it was not a surprise. On the other hands you can simply take the tram number 3 (tram stop near the hotel) and get to the city center within 10 min.
Staff speak english and is really kind
Rooms are clean and breakfast is ok(delicious the homemade cake!!)
Quality of sleep was ok
I think for such price(20/25 euros for a single room with private toilet and breakfast included) you cant ask something better. If you are an easy going person this is the hotel that suit for you
From 1 to 10 I give 7 to this Hotel
Dated decor but clean, comfortable and great value
Old-man-walkingon 26/09/2011 11:12The hotel is a little dated and located quite a distance (4-5km) from the "old town" and tourist areas of Bydgoszcz but these are probably the only negatives for this hotel. The hotel is however located just off the main road into the various tourist areas and therefore has excellent links, both tram and bus into town plus typically the taxi fare was only about £4 to get into the town.
Close by the hotel is a large out of town shopping area with numerous big label outlets (Galleria Pomorska) and shops.
The hotel is clean and tidy, rooms are spacious and have all the usual facilities.
The attached Pizza restaurant needs highlighting, the pizza was excellent but so too was all the food tried. Breakfast was very good, an excellent spread of traditional polish breakfast foods but so much choice even the fussiest eater could have a good start to the day!!
The staff were polite and very helpful both in the hotel and the restaurant.

Excellent hotel - best value in Bydgoszcz - central to everything
eurosporton 22/05/2011 16:09I find it a bit sketchy that someone from another country would leave a bad review for this hotel and then recommend another one 'just down the road' - in this case down the road means an HOUR DRIVE to ANOTHER CITY - Torun - a bit misleading don't you think - especially if you need to be in Bydgoszcz? My honest opinion is that the other hotel - Mercure - is getting random people to write reviews to solicit business to their hotel.
I found Hotel Pomorski to be clean with an excellent restaurant - the brick oven pizza was the best I had anywhere - and the owner informed me that he specifically traveled to Italy to pick out the oven. He speaks fluent ENGLISH having lived in the STATES for many years and his wife speaks fluent Italian.
Not too many places where you stay you have the ability to speak with the owner - usually some manager who has no authority to do anything.
I should also mention that the breakfast buffet was great and included in the price of the stay. Parking is secure if you driving and want to feel secure about your vehicle and its contents. Trolley takes you into the center of the City in mere minutes so no need to drive and look for an impossible parking spot.
The owner is also an avid motorcyclist and there is a beautiful restored 1940 BMW in the entrance of the hotel.
unimpressed
tired-bus-ravelleron 21/09/2008 01:401. There was no hot water in the shower, only the sink.
2. Towels not changed and beds not made during a multi night stay not even new toilet rolls supplied!
Go to the Mercure down the road, much nicer!
Absolutely fantastic
ianpckpon 13/08/2006 05:30This hotel is fabulous.Very cheap rooms all en-suite with satellite tv and a telephone. The breakfast(included in the price)was buffet style and the food was excellent.
The staff where very friendly and helpful.Although not all of them spoke English they will go out of there way to make your stay enjoyable(phoning taxis etc).
I would recommend this hotel to anyone travelling to Bydgoszcz. The price of a room for one person was approximately £15per night(depending on the exchange rate).
