SubashRSon 30/08/2017 16:11Upon arrival we had the greeting in main entrance which was nice, and then straight to the suite for check in. Having visited Poovar Resort couple of times on various occasions with family, and my friends we had great time which all still cherish..
The most highlighting factor is the Floating room and great bed to sleep on it for hours!
Buffet was just amazing! Need less to mention about the pools and Spa.
Overall its a life time experience to stay to Poovar Resort ..I would recommend that everyone must try :-)

Arun Ton 30/08/2017 15:05Resort is in backwater, so you have to go by boat!!. Surprised my family as they thought it's just yet another resort. It's a secluded place and very peaceful There are floating cottages as well. Management was open to provide floating cottage, but I felt sort of giddiness, so took the normal cottage
Food is excellent and staff are very courteous. It's very relaxing.

Baljeet1on 30/08/2017 13:19My wife and I immensely enjoyed every bit of our stay on Poovar Island Resort at the Ayurveda Village. Every member of staff deserve a pat behind their back for making our stay there a memorable one - their kindness and warmth was EXCEPTIONAL.
The Chef Mr. Ashok Kumar is a one in a million kind of a person who is jovial , friendly , humble and great fun to be with on days when he organizes cooking lessons - we learnt a lot from him.
Best place to be if you truly want to experience a near heavenly experience!!
