Carlos Aon 17/06/2016 00:21Water contaminated, broken Air condisioner, bugs on the floor, old elevators, mold in showers, terrible laundry service. AC broke was switch to a different room that was in worst condition. At that point I decided to switch to a different hotel but they did not issue a refund. Be careful, dont pay ahead.
Good value for money!
Ikethon 09/06/2016 19:13On our arrival we checked in without problem. Our room was very spacious and comfortable. The hotel is well located. The staff was very helpful and polite. The only disappointment was that despite I placed a special request for breakfast (gluten free bread and soy milk ) they didn't have it ready for our first breakfast although the following day they did their best on getting the milk but no the bread.

KayJay45on 16/02/2015 11:56None of the staff speak any English at all and the people on the coast speak with a strong accent and a different dialect so they couldn't understand our Spanish and we couldn't understand theirs. We had a friend (a local) come to the hotel to translate for us which turned out to be invaluable, we wouldn't have been able to even check in otherwise. The hotel is extremely old and a lot of the walls look half painted. Our bed was so solid that I woke constantly with sore ribs. Our sheets were not clean, the shower was mouldy, we weren't given a bath mat or fresh towels. We kept being told "we'll bring you new towels later" even after taking our used ones. We (our friend who translated) had to ask four times to get us some towels. The sink in the bathroom gives of a horrible smell when the water is running, all of the furniture is old and damaged. I really wish we hadn't stayed here. If it wasn't the week of the cacarnaval, we would have left. This hotel does not deserve it's four star rating. There isn't even a sign for the door so that the staff won't disturb you. We were disturbed in the worst way, on valentine's morning.
They Don't honor your Online reservations
Glandrygon 04/09/2013 03:57I made a online reservation a month ahead of time, traveled all night, 14 hours from Lafayette Louisiana to get to this hotel In Barranquilla. When I got there I told them I had a reservation, The guy at the front desk told me no I didn't and what the rates were per night. I told Him I made the reservation and agreed to pay this amount. He looked at me crazy and said I needed to go onkine and make a reservation. . I laughed to myself and showed him my receipt from Booking.com, which had all my information and conformation number.. and they still wouldn't honor my reservation. .Their normal price was $119 a night and I got it for$43 a night and the guy seem frfrustrated with me getting it at that price and would not try to help me find my reservation.. even though I had the conformation number.. I do not recomend this place.. I think they should have worked with me, traveling that far and acted like they had no idea what I was talking about..

Shandairaon 03/12/2012 02:08The check in went smooth, although the room windows was loose very old and moldy, and the sheets were dirty. After calling front desk several times, to ask for another room because the loosen moldy windows and the sheets were disgusting dirty, they send the bellboy to check if this was really the case. After a long waiting we finally get a much better upgraded room.
