What People are saying

Good value

Adjacent to the slopes and equipment rental outlets. Across the road from the main promenade to the town centre. Helpful pleasant staff. Our room didn't seem to be the amazing rooms you see in photos but was adequate. Kitchenette and fridge were handy as is the dishwasher. Apartment had two bedrooms off the main living area which could easily accommodate two singles in each. Room wasn't serviced once throughout but extra towels were supplied half way through the week. Wifi was quite basic. Other guests ranged from couple to families, no student types really. Access to spa facilities and pool were subject to an extra charge of €15. One small drawback to the view we had was of the partly constructed building next door which contributed to a bit of a messy walk from the ski lockers to the piste as the path is yet to be finished but that's being a bit fussy.
I would definitely stay here again at the price paid.

Good resrt for families. High enough for good snow when general conditions are poor. Easy to get to. South facing slopes can get a bit sugary on warm days. Plenty of places to eat and drink on the piste.

Well equipped apartment with lovely views of the slopes

As other reviews have stated, Village Montana have several buildings and when you book based on m2 and floor plans, it is difficult to know which building you are getting.
We spoke to reception - the 32m2 and 35m2 apartments are in the main Village Montana building which has been newly renovated, has a lounge with log fire, a restaurant on the ground floor which opens out onto the slope, a manned reception and a sauna/steam room. The boot room entrance is also off the main slope by the ski school meeting point so very convenient
The 45m2 apartments are in a nearby building called Valbel, where we stayed. Again easy access onto the slopes from the boot room, well equipped apartments of a great standard, very roomy and lovely views of the slopes from the balcony. The apartment had a mini oven, microwave, kettle, toaster, coffee maker, 4 ring hob as well as a fridge and freezer. The cleaning pack included cloths, dishwasher tablets, washing up liquid and bin bags and theres even a hoover in the cupboard. Loads of storage space and the TV had BBC1, BBC2 and cBeebies. Quiet at night and a change of towels mid week. The best bit being a gorgeous French bakery just next to the front door, so handy for morning breads and afternoon pastries!
Rooms of 49m2 and upwards are in the Soleil building which is across the main road from Village Montana. We were allocated an apartment here first - the one above a ski shop where there was no view at all from the balcony. The kitchen area was tiny and the apartments have a tiled floor and are dated. The ski room was busy. On changeover Saturday there were queues for the lifts (which serve alternate floors and so confuse people). There is a walk across the road and down a steep icy pathway to access the slopes (possibly skiable in the mornings earlier in the season but not at Easter). These apartments face the slopes but also the main road and so people staying there reported lots of noise from the road at night.

Montana Village

Great location. Montana Soleil apartment was basic but clean. 24 hr reception service allowed us to check in 3am Sunday morning which was very helpful. The booking site used to book the apartment showcased Montana premier apartments which was not was allocated. 45sq m apartment was more than sufficient for a family of 4.

Marvellous Montana

Montana delivers a first class experience from first contact to reception throughout the stay and at the moment of departure.
The location is excellent as are the views of the mountains. It's the best.
