Good for a budget stay
Allwin Son 30/08/2017 02:55The hotel was good for a budget stay. We were 7 family and booked 7 rooms. There are some category of rooms where no geyser is there 24/7. Please check that and proceed with the booking so that u ll not face any issues for hot water during night. Also, breakfast options were less in the breakfast package. We were given only poori and bread,jam along with tea/coffee for breakfast.

hegdemy3on 23/08/2017 15:09It's good place if you are looking budget stay. Rooms, Ventilation and washrooms are in good condition. Only problem is you hardly get response from the maintenance staff when you ask something. They come with excuses and act innocent.
Economical stay with necessary facilities
Gummalurion 01/08/2017 19:58I had stayed here with 8 of my friends. We had booked 3 rooms with 2, 2 and 5 in each room. Rooms were spacious, bathrooms and toilets were maintained well. Reception officials were responsive and cooperative. The hot water facility is limited from 7 am to 9:30 am. Local transport was arranged by this cottage at an affordable price. I recommend this stay to medium to big groups which are looking for an economical place. It has good restaurants like Hyderabadi Biriyani House and others nearby.
Budget Lodge in ooty
MUKHARITRAon 24/07/2017 10:36Rainbow cottages is a average budget hotel, out of city chaos in ooty. Location is good. Rooms are big, clean, bathroom is also very good. But in my experience they should improve their customer service. Every thing in here is self service, whether drinking water, tea or breakfast or dinner. But good for 8- 12 people group. you may have a single entire cottage with 4 to 5 rooms. Looking for a little bit low budget hotel in ooty, this will be your ideal choice, but if you are looking for luxary, please do not come here.

maheshkjon 20/07/2017 03:46We booked two rooms . We were 5 adult & 2 children .
Three were senior citizen . We were allotted two rooms in the down floor three . Thro the hotel looks on ground floor from the road side but on arrival out allotted rooms were three floor to climb down & no lift.
We refused to stay.however the management arranged in near by hotel.
We recommend old couples to get confirm that in hill stations rooms are either on upside or on down side but in photos shown on ground level of a road .
Also hotel booking web sight too have a column for old age persons to choose the hotel with facilities in a hotel .
It was a budgeted hotel.
