AndieAndyxxxxon 10/06/2017 22:00We stayed at the Ramada Encore before our flight the next day. The hotel staff were so very helpful and friendly . Thank you to Kirsty the manager, nothing was too much trouble. The room was fit for its purpose,bed ok, room very clean, tea and coffee,very quiet, wake up call perfect, so why people complain I don't understand. We ate in the restaurant the food was good and reasonably priced. We had fish, chips during peas £10. Around that price. We also parked the car for a week perfect and so easy. Thank you again.

Stay If You Have To
MSPChesterfieldukon 08/06/2017 20:44We found the only good point about this hotel we're the staff, polite, efficient and nothing was too much trouble.
If you want to experience the worst nights sleep of your life then you have found the right place, our bed was the most uncomfortable we have ever slept on, fortunately we had an early start so the 5 hours was more than enough for the torture we endured.
We had dinner in the restaurant which was more like a canteen and far from the best dining experience we have experienced, a sparse over priced menu of deep fat fried or microwaved dishes lacking any creativity whatsoever.
Now we are sitting in the sun in Dubrovnik in an hotel with comfortable beds and excellent food and thankfully Doncaster Ramada Hotel seems a million miles away and is an experience we will not be repeating.
Fine for airport stopover
di1310on 07/06/2017 21:57We stayed here prior to an early flight from Doncaster airport. The staff on reception were lovely and check in was fast and we were soon on our way up to the room. The room was spotless as was all the hotel. The bed was a bog standard double comfortable enough for one night. The bathroom was clean amd the shower was ok. We did eat in the restaurant,as we didn't fancy driving into Doncaster, and the food was tasty an hot. Not a huge choice on the menu and the prices what you would expect of an airport hotel, likewise for drinks. We had a park and stay package which entailed leaving the car on the hotel car park. It was a good stroll across to the arrivals hall ok for us on a nice May morning but maybe would be less pleasant in cold and rain. It might also be a problem for anybody with mobility issues. Quick and easy to get the carpark code on return. All in all we were quite happy to with our stay and will certainly use again should we have an early flight from Doncaster airport
Coast to Coast Cycle ride stop over
steviej0on 05/06/2017 11:02Easy to find, next to Robin Hood Airport but no noise from flights coming in or going out. Very friendly and helpful staff. All cyclists and drivers checked in by one person and breakfast booked for everyone all within 5 minutes - brilliant. Lovely bar and eating area. The rooms were spacious with a lovely shower room. A larger secure car park available with a 10 minute drive in to Doncaster itself.
