May Weekend Stay
Bernadette1182015on 17/05/2017 07:22We were here for a family reunion and really enjoyed our weekend! Our room on the 3rd floor was clean and well equipped. Our only concern with the room was that the shower doors did not seal properly resulting in leakage onto the floor. Otherwise everything was great! The daily breakfast was like nothing we've seen in Germany before-terrific! Our family celebration was well served, often late into the evening in the restraunt with no complaints from the waig staff. We also enjoyed a few beers in the quiet courtyard. The front desk staff was extremely polite and attentive. We would definitely recommend this hotel!
Make the best of it.
lividexpressionon 30/04/2017 07:02We showed up and found our room smaller than what it stated on booking.com. So be prepared! No queen or double bed (only two twins you push together)! And no double sofa bed as stated. Kitchenette was a bit dingy with doors broken off. However, the hotel staff did try to accommodate us by providing an extra bed for our daughter. The room was cozy but we were only sleeping in it so that was fine. The hotel itself excelled at breakfast and the spa offerings. Breakfast was diverse and delicious! My daughter thought the liverwurst was fantastic and wouldn't stop eating it. The restaurant was well staffed and ambient. The Roman bath was wonderful! Very beautiful with the star shape! Ample towels supplied, clean bathroom, etc. Very light traffic so it was relaxing. No swimsuits in sauna and steam room but they warn you in the e-mail. Bath was heated and relaxing! Kids also enjoyed it. Though I wouldn't recommend for young or rambunctious children. No toiletries in room so make sure to provide your own. Overall, the hotel is very nice.
Very Convenient for the Motorway - Comfortable and Quiet.
Eviebabe12on 16/04/2017 11:21This hotel is located within a kilometre of the motorway yet there was no problem with traffic noise. Very convenient for an overnight stop. The hotel was very comfortable and has an expensive 'feel' about it. We did not have dinner at the hotel as the choice was limited and a bit on the expensive side - we travelled about 2Km into town and found a very nice Italian restaurant (Firenze) which did good food at a good price.
The breakfast, which was included in the price, provided a large choice of cold and hot food and was very good apart from the coffee which was not.
Hard to find, characterless saved by great breakfast

After struggling to find the hotel (no signage - presumably due to hotel being renamed) and a hike from the parking lot, we were checked in to an incorrect room. However, that was quickly sorted out and we were able to eventually get to our room around an hour after arriving in the area.
The rooms are spacious, but not the cleanest hotel I've ever been to. However, the shower and bathroom are really good and no problem with water pressure here. Additionally, the breakfast is a very well laid out buffet - highly recommended and a nice surprise.

Zéro gratuity in The room, wifi was not working for days...so for a hotel assuring companies can have meetings it is a no go...
