EMILE Don 08/08/2017 17:13I love this hotel! Service in every way, is excellent. The rooms are extremely comfortable, taking care of details like in all Intercontinental hotels. The location is ideal, opposite to Metrocentro. Breakfast of the Club and Ambassador levels met all my expectations, a variety of fruit, cereals, hams, cheeses, bread and hot dishes like “pupusas”, corn tamalitos, among other Salvadoran delicacies. The hotel is impeccable, every area neat and clean. Totally recommended!
Not worth the price.

At the prepaid breakfast buffet, waiters never bring you the coffee timely or often enough; and if they do, they forget sugar or spoons or milk, and take a long time to bring what they forget. The electronic cards for the room and elevators get deactivated all of the time, forcing you to go to the reservations desk to fix it more than once a day. The concierge service was awful because the guy didn't even know where to call for a flower bouquet delivery, on top of him acting fresh and disrespectful. It was a very disappointing experience overall.
Great choice, business hotel
SunSeekerMAon 02/08/2017 21:28I recently stayed at the Intercontinental at the tail end of a 4 day trip to El Salvador. We had stayed in Suchitoto for 2 nights previously and wanted to have a closer trip to the airport for our 7am flight. The hotel was modern and comfortable with friendly attentive service. It is predominantly a business hotel with a few scattered family travelers. Rooms and beds were comfortable and as expected in an Intercontinental. We ate dinner in the restaurant as well - food was good - portions were huge - especially compared to typical food portions in this country. It was nice that the hotel seemed concerned that we had a ride/driver to wherever we were headed next and asked at check-in. There is a large mall across the street with several food options. We had been touring in the heat all day otherwise we would have ventured out.
we go to restaurant Picasso with a friend of mine, and the valet parking stole a few headphones that are worthless, but
