Set your expectations [way] low and it'll be fine
jtwanderson 26/08/2016 04:14We stayed here recently despite the reviews and true enough it had its shortcomings...
Having arrived at night, the outside looked like it had been abandoned - there was a broken staircase, lights were kinda dim and there were spiderwebs in corridor (but they were pretty thick so very obvious so you'd know to avoid them)
The office has a basic breakfast setup but they don't serve breakfast
The room seemed pretty old with the furniture fairly worn. While there were no amenities listed aside from an air conditioner our room did have a coffee machine, microwave, and refrigerator. The beds and the bathroom were clean but I'd recommend bringing your own bath towel.
Overall it's a slightly better alternative to sleeping in your car so if you just need a place to crash for the night it's fine - you're basically getting what you paid for (which is significantly lower in comparison to the others in the area)

If I could give this 1/2 star, I would, just because it had a bed and toilet. Even though I had to clean the toilet before use, and the shower had so much mildew that it smelled. The shower door was broken/jammed. I was exhausted, it was one short night, and I wasn't going to shower or I would have requested a room change. The phone had dried stuff on it, and after cleaning it, didn't even work. The rug hadn't seen a vacuum, there were bloodstains on the bed, and the sink strainer had hair and whatever else in it. There were no towels or toilet paper. The a/c was broken, and the motel didn't have wifi for the entire graduation weekend! A graduation weekend with a full house and the rooms weren't cleaned and no cable? The place should be closed. It's unsafe AND unhealthy. The assistant manager saw the shower and his reaction was "Oh, XXXX! There's nothing I can do. We ran out of rooms." I will never, ever go there again, I would sleep in my car.
Adjust your standards and think of the price
F Ton 30/05/2016 11:38I was terrified to stay here after reading the reviews, but I was out of options because it was Memorial Day weekend.
And it's true: "ramshackle " would be a kind word for this place. Dingy outdoor carpet. One set of stairs closed, it has gotten so dangerous. No cable.
But my room was clean. The guy who checked us in was polite. Clean, good sized fridge and microwave. The tiny window overlooked a little field and a maple tree both filtered the sun and welcomed birds that sang us to a restful morning.
Fresh coffee in the lobby, real tablecloths at breakfast. So breakfast was plastic wrapped cookies and pastries--what did you expect for 41 bucks?
Horrible
Cindy Won 12/04/2016 00:24Went to visit and spend time with friends we haven't seen in many years. Reservation made ahead of time, went to check in...no one at desk but a kid. Reserved a king room and was gave a room with 2 double beds (of which one was used and just remade) because they didn't have any available, even though I reserved one and prepaid for it. He guided me up to the room, walking way ahead of me, only because he wanted to hurry and get the trash out of the room from prior person...blaming the staff for not taking care of it prior when he looked as if he was asleep when the kid went to get him(he should have cleaned it instead of sleeping). The room was disgusting, it was never cleaned, enough toilet paper for one piss, and none to be found, condoms stuck to the bottom of the trash can, no cable, no soap or shampoo, and when went to get a shower there was no hot water. No wifi. No coffee in the lobby as advertised, it looked like it had sat for a year without being used. We called the front desk several times with no luck, they should have gave us another room or a complete refund. I'd rather sleep in my dogs bed than ever stay here again. This place should be shut down!
would not book again
Jean Mon 30/03/2016 23:45Went there for a funeral, the beds were hard and lumpy, room was filthy, no tv service, I reserved the rooms at $41 a night, was charged $52 a night, room heater, had mixed heat and air conditioning going at the same time, when i went to check out they had a notice tacked to the door from the electric company for non payment of services, of over $ 8 thousand dollars owed, disconnection order, also construction was going on in the parking lot, wi-fi screwed up my computer, ended up with malware due to porn pop ups and i could not get online at all. stay away, find a better place.
