spartan but clean

1. the rooms were very clean,
2. the beds were excellent.
This hotel outside has a mid-1900s appearance; the rooms have been partially updated. As with a hotel from that era, it does not have a few things some have come to assume -- so bring your own hair dryer, facial tissue, and breakfast muffin.
I had business in Searcy but all the rooms were booked so I made a rez at Regency Inn
Jerry Gon 08/05/2017 04:28The Regency Inn is a recently renovated roadside motel. It is one of only two motels in the small town of Bald Knob, Arkansas. I reserved a room with two beds for two adult men. When we arrived the manager told us she wanted us to see our room before we paid since we had to accept a smoking room. The room was spotless. The bathroom was very spacious. The beds were queen size and very comfortable. Other than the stale odor of tobacco, the room was very, very nice. The parking lot was well lighted. We were thankful to get a room at all since they were in short supply due to a college graduation in nearby Searcy, Ark. We had two good nights sleep and will stay there the next time our business takes us to the area.
Pleasantly surprised
Don Son 13/08/2016 16:46This little motel was a pleasant surprise. Apparently it has been remodeled as it is an older motel. The owner was very friendly and helpful. I can say that it is the cleanest place I've stayed in a while. The bed is comfortable and the TV was a new flat screen. Coffee maker, microwave, and mini fridge are in the room. The only problem experienced was that mosquitos will get in your room if you leave the door open for any length of time. But, I live in Arkansas and mosquitos can be prevalent. I would definitely stay here again.

144Dave914on 11/04/2015 21:47I was looking for the place to spend a night or two near Searcy Arkansas . My family were taking part in events taking place at Harding. I made the booking with Regency Inn. The lady answering the phone was very nice. Upon our check in the owner himself came to give his hand with our luggage. The rooms were clean and cozy.. with home like atmosphere. Definitely stay hare in our next visit to Bald Knob area.

Yvonne Pon 08/06/2014 14:05Surprised by elegant decor and fresh updates. New fixtures, 42" TV, new frig/microwave. Very clean, no odor. Will definitely stay again. 2 persons, 2 beds for $57 tax included. 5 stars. Even the bedspreads were new and good quality. Owner very eager to please.
