Cheating hotel and not worth the price

We had ordered this hotel for 11 nights. At the arrival we were told, that for next 2 or 3 days we will be moved to the other hotel, because of the repair of couple rooms. And it was totaly lie, because there were no repairs, and how we found out later, we were 6th or 7th visitors that day, who were moved to the other hotel. They were just "overselling" their rooms.
So this was totaly disaster, because the main reason why we chose this hotel was location. And we were moved far away from the sea, somewhere in a middle of a mountain. It would not be so tragic, if we had not traveled with infant. And the motel we were moved was much worse than this one.
The Residence Villas is far away from 4 stars hotel. Maximum what it could have would be 2 or 3 stars. Photos and reality is very different.
The variety of food is not so bad, but the quality is poor.
Wi-fi works only close to the reception, so it is not covering almost all of the rooms.
So my suggestion would be pay a bit more, but choose a proper hotel.
We and our friends will not come back to Residence Villas, for sure.

It’s really nice to turn up somewhere on holiday and find out you have got what it said on the label for once.
Got a lovely clean fresh room and this was maintained every day, by some very hard working cleaning associates. This place had a stylish and sometimes arty feel to it with nick nacks and hidden sculptures all over the place. The Restaurant did not let this place down serving a collection of excellent food items in a buffet style set up Morning and evening. You will be looked after well here the waitress in the restaurant who we felt very genuine and was complemented her colleagues in the bar and reception not to mention the chefs they made our holiday a comfortable experience indeed. I was also a relief to see the engineer testing the pool every day to ensure the quality of the water was safe. We also found it hard to believe that a member of staff who we called Adam had only been there for a short while the owners should be proud of this team.
The Bus stop is not far if you want to explore and are a starting point for most excursions. The white golden sandy beach is less than a minute’s walk and the resort workers are all very friendly. The nearest cash point is about 2 mins walk and well stocked with much more up the strip. There is a pharmacy within walking distance.
Loads of Tavernas, bars, supermarkets/souvenier shops and water sports. Would definitely recommend.

A szoba egyszerű, bájos berendezésű. Az ágyak matraca nagyon kényelmetlen, öreg, elnyűtt, a rugók fekvés közben nyomták a bordámat. :(
Elhelyezkedés: a legszebb homokos parttól pár lépésre, csodálatos éttermek, és boltok közelében
Nagyon kedves személyzet, tökéletes a takarítás, gyakori törülköző csere. A reggeli kissé egyhangú. A wifi jel nagyon gyenge.

The room is simple, charming furnishings. The mattress of the beds is very uncomfortable, old, the springs printed on my ribs while lying down. :(
Location: just steps from the most beautiful sandy beach, close to great restaurants and shops
Very friendly staff, perfect cleaning, frequent towel exchange. Breakfast is slightly unanimous. Wifi signal very small.

Thank you again Sofia & Maria for the perfect service and the warm welcome ! Most delicious cretan cuisine in the hotel restaurant We did not need yo cook. Although there was a kitchen in the apartment since the hotel menu was perfect The place is well decorated and near the sandy beach

VACATION FOR RELAX

We spend one week at Residence Villas for our vacation.Our room was very clean and beautiful. It is a peaceful hotel , where you can relax and have great vacations.The staff is excellent and their hospitality is great.They have tratidional food with much variation, so you don't need to go out to eat. We will return next year for sure!
