Reasonable
Himadri Ron 30/06/2016 03:23The hotel's biggest advantage is its location. It is not far away from the main road entering Mandarmani. Stayed there in two occasions. Hotel staffs changed durin my second visit. All together a reasonable experience. Food quality was not upto the expectations.
Great location, best beach access, friendly service
Shyam1233on 14/06/2016 14:52I would like to share my thoughts on my recent visit to Resort Hirak Jayanti. This is my 4th visit to this resort since 2007. We like going on short week-end drives and so we left Kolkata on Saturday 11th June'16 at 8.30 am. Reached the resort at around 12.10 pm due to congested roads from Contai onwards. I had already booked the resort over phone few days earlier. The manager called me up one day earlier and asked me if I wanted a super delux a/c sea front room for a small extra charge. I readily agreed. On reaching the resort with my family, we were offered cold water while the manager quickly completed the check-in formalities. It was a very hot day and the cold water was welcome. Overall stay was for one night. Room was a/c sea facing one with excellent view. Sea beach access of this resort is the best in this area. Food and services were satisfactory. Overall good friendly service.
Good hotel for an overnight
Debojyoti_DJon 04/04/2016 19:25Arrived the hotel at 7pm, pretty decent hotel on the beach though can make out not very equipped to handle requirement of the guests but at least tried with whatever was possible.
Everything is chargeable. A typical food for snacks and dinner for 3 cost around 1000. We were ok as we did not wanted to explore.
What's nice was at the evening you can sit by the beach on a makeshift sitting arrangement and have a couple of drinks in peace and serenity.
Not to expect too much but ok. Location good and within reachable distance from the main market.
Comfortable Stay
goutam_dasgupta63on 14/01/2016 16:34Stayed in the resort from 09 Jan 16 to 11 Jan 16. It was a very comfortable and cosy stay with an added advantage of having a very friendly and helpful staff. The resort has 28 cottages, all sea facing and spacious enough to accommodate a couple and one child. Rooms have attached toilets but no geyser. But you will definitely not miss it because it will supplied in buckets as per your requirement. AC is optional . The restaurant is not very fancy but food is very tasty and cheap. In all a VFM deal. Ample space for car parking is available. The sea beach is just a few steps away.
