The best housekeeper ever

How nice the housekeeper was here I would have left a week ago it's only that clearly knows about them in their own country and they treat people like crap unfortunately this is true for everybody that works at the exception of the housekeeper. The housekeeper here is one of the best people that I've ever met that works inside of it veteran of Desert Storm and he is definitely worth any type of accolades that you could give. if it wasn't for him I would have left a week ago I also want to say that the rooms are mediocre-at-best because they're in there is a constant Curry smell throughout everything that they do and they're disgusting dirty people I can't there's nothing I can do to change that. These people literally pooped in the water that they drink out of in their home country and they don't have toilet they have a bathroom with a hole in the floor and these two spots for your feet to go they are disgusting dirty people by nature and I find them and disgusting here I feel bad for the children because they're used to pooping on the floor and it even though these are disgusting people who run this hotel that I'm staying here because of that one housekeeper who have a good day

The room smelled like 500 people were in the room smoking at once.There were burn holes in the bedspreads. There was a no smoking sign on the desk--it didn't work. The chairs were so filthy, we never used them. The was hairy mold growing on the shower curtain. The TV screen was filthy ( something was splashed on it and ran down the screen ) The sheets were clean and void of bugs. There was only half of a pair of drapes on the window. We arrived in Vermont @ 1:00 AM and nothing else was available in the area. There was actually an envelope on the desk to tip the housekeeper--WHY?--she obviously doesn't do her job. We had a short nap and got out of there ASAP.

Clean room but strong air freshener smell

Room was clean, I always check the mattress and all corners for bugs. None found.
There was a very strong smell of room deodorizer/ freshener. We had to leave the windows open. If i was chemically sensitive i would not have been able to stay.
Breakfast was not to our liking but we are fussy If you eat packaged processed food muffins,fruit loops and standard make your own waffles you may like it. During check in we questioned the price of the room as we are Choice members. We were told by a lovely lady who does not speak good English that her daughter would call us to discuss the price. She never did call us but the price was the best we found in the area so we did not pursue it. Next visit I will look for another place to try but I would stay here if I had to.

Room was very clean and comfortable. Everything worked OK and was in good repair. Appears to have been nicely remodeled in the past year or two -- nice tile in the bathroom.

When I first arrived the room had an over-powering perfumed smell, but it dissipated after the first day. I could not tell if it was supposed to mask anything.

Furniture included a desk, table and chairs, bed stand, dresser. Fridge and microwave worked OK; the fridge even had a working freezer section. Air conditioner worked well. Nice HD TV with lots of channels. Wifi worked well.

King bed was large and comfortable. Good sleep quaility, very quiet.

Location is convenient to the Stellafane convention -- about 25 minute drive on back roads. The accommodations were better than some I'd stayed at in Springfield, and about half the price. I did not notice any fast food places nearby, though there are many restaurants in Bellows Falls a few miles away.

Breakfast offerings were limited -- there was a selection of pastries wrapped cellophane and coffee.

Office staff and maid were helpful.

Exterior of the motel seemed nice -- perhaps recently painted. The grounds could do with a bit of beautification -- the pool looked ugly. The office interior could be made a bit more welcoming, as it gives a rough first impression.

I was here about 5 days and had a good stay. Would come here again.

A decent place for a decent price.

We stayed there for one night (July 23rd) and found the room to be clean and quiet during the night. The air conditioner blew cold and was not loud and the refrigerator worked well. The staff was polite and cooperative and the continental breakfast was sufficient with plenty of fresh coffee. For the price I thought the accommodations were more than satisfactory. I plan to stay there again in the future - while doing some fishing in the area.
