Swins222on 09/07/2017 15:47Easy stop when traveling. This is a pet friendly location but there is NO grassy area to take dogs. There is a large, muddy area - I washed my dogs paws afterwards. Coffee is offered in the lobby but ALLSUPS next door offers a better cup. Rooms are clean, beds are comfy & the wifi works.
Excellent stay for the budget minded
Carrie Won 01/04/2017 01:30The desk staff was very professional and courteous. Booked the room quickly and had us situated. The room was very clean and the bed was comfortable. The dogs even enjoyed the stay. Would recommend a dog run or walk area though.

Not Your Usual Motel 6!
USNavyVet72on 27/02/2017 07:26We got into Childress around 7:00 PM and checked around for a motel. It was February. Not prime season for a motel, but everyone in town must have thought it was the middle of the summer as their prices were high. Not so with Motel 6. This was a fairly new motel. The room was huge and very reasonable. The bed was comfortable and the big screen TV was HUGE. We had a good night's sleep and were on the road again at 6:00 the next morning. If you're in Childress, Texas, give the Motel 6 your business.
