Nice five nights stay
llPaprikaon 01/10/2017 21:47This is one of the affordable places in Gardiner. The location was great, A few minutes drive to the north entrance of YNP, and walking distance to some shops and restaurants. It's off the highway so no road noises. We were up on the 4th floor, the views of the mountain changed everyday!
People working here were always friendly, always smiling, just a good atmosphere. The hotel ground and our room were clean. We got an accessible one queen room by accident, it seemed to have more space than the regular ones, especially the bathroom. There was no closet, but a rack with hangers were enough for our purpose. We did use the AC, it was effective to warm up the space. There were many wall plugs for our gadgets. Overall, consider the location and the price we paid, it was a fare deal.
Like any wood framed building, one could hear more noised from their neighbors. But the place quieted down at night. It was never a problem for us(staying at top floor helped too I suppose)
The parking was just right next to the building. There were two sets of stair way and a nice elevator.
One day the whole town was out of electricity(incl some part of YNP too), it was not unusual here, our flash lights became handy.
Free breakfast was adequate, but could use some variety(b/c we stayed for five night). I liked that they put coffee and pastries outside for people to take on the road.
From my observation, the management ran this place with care and pride! I sense this attitude from the people working there. It was a great experience!
If I had to be picky, maybe change the fan in the bathroom, it was a bit loud, since it shared the switch with the light, there were times we used the bathroom without the light on just for the quiet.
Super Nice!
Pam Son 27/09/2017 00:04We stayed 1 night at the Rodeway Inn in Gardiner Mt. while visiting Yellowstone. Our room was super nice! Everything was so clean. There was a nice welcome card from the hotel on our bed.We had complimentary coffee and tea in our room plus a mini refrigerator. The wifi worked very well. They have a light breakfast in the morning with a choice of juice and coffee - cereals, pastries, scrambled eggs, waffles and sausage. We had a very comfortable stay.
Pleasantly surprised
659mindykon 13/09/2017 03:48Apparently I didn't read about the room I had booked. We were pleasantly surprised when we got to our room. We ended up having a a suite complete with separate living area and a full kitchen with dishes, pots and pans. Know that we were going to be here for 3 nights, it was a big relief. Having the full kitchen meant we didn't have to eat out every night, which meant our vacation dollars went further. It was a nice touch to have a thank you note from the owners for choosing their hotel
Great Service!
ivo2018on 11/09/2017 01:53The staff were very welcoming and nice - they seem to actually care about their customers. This is one of the best places I've been to in terms of service. I've never been to another Rodeway Inn, so I can only comment on the one in Gardiner MT. Tip: arrive before 10:30 pm to avoid after-hours check in.
This Rodeway Inn is better than others
mermaid82001on 08/09/2017 18:45Stayed here 2 nights while visiting Yellowstone. It's at the North end of Gardiner, next to Comfort Inn. 2 story motel-style building. My room had 1 Queen bed with upscale linens, refrigerator, coffeemaker, closet tucked in the corner, nice toiletries. There was a dish of candy on dresser as well as a handwritten welcome note from Tom, the manager. The room was pricey ($190 per night) but consider that you are in a gateway town and it is still summer. Breakfast was adequate with scrambled eggs, yogurt, fruit, coffee, etc. There are wrought iron table & chairs outside of rooms where you can relax and enjoy the scenery. This is a good place to stay while exploring the Park, even better if you are a member of their Choice Rewards program. Even though it was pricey, I wouldn't hesitate to stay here again.
