Nothing fancy, but fit the bill

Needed an inexpensive hotel for an overnight in Riverton. Found this online, joined the ChoiceHotels rewards for a dollar discount when booking. Old but clean, bed more comfy than Motel 6! Room had a small fridge and microwave. Plenty of coffee at breakfast and although cereal and waffles were all that was on the menu, the waffles were pretty yummy. Would definitely stay again.

Will not stay again. Yes it was only $58.00 but believe it should have been less. The bathroom door and toilet handle were broken. The phone was loud static unless you held the cord a certain way. Coffee pot did not work. Continental breakfast consisted of waffles with syrup. No fruit. No toast. No boxed cereal. It really bothered me that the margerine, milk, and syrup were not individually packaged. Just a community gallon of milk, tub of oleo and a bottle of syrup. Could have been tainted by anyone. Parking lot was plowed but snow was piled at space in front of room so had to park in back of office bldg. On a good note the TV worked well, the wifi worked well and the cranberry juice was great.

We were staying 2 nights in Riverton. Fortunately, I only booked 1 here. We were out first thing the next morning and won't be returning. The website said they had breakfast. We were informed on check-in that there would be no breakfast as they had few guests. However, to make up for this, they would upgrade us to a Queen Suite. The down side to the queen suite. NO queen beds!! Just 3 full-size beds. WHAT?? We had them switch us to a room with 1 queen bed. It had a foul smell in the room, with a room deodorizer in it. We soon realized that the linens had the lingering smell of cigarettes. UGH!
The website also advertised guest laundry. Nope! They ripped it out a couple of years ago and hadn't gotten around to reinstalling it. That had been our big reason for choosing this hotel. I definitely needed to do laundry.
When we arrived it had been snowing, it was December in Wyoming. There was no snow removal.
All in all, I truly don't have anything positive to say, and I try hard to say something good. I would never stay here again. NO matter the occasion.

For all you late travellers, don't stay here. I was driving late on business and arrived very tired at just a few minutes after 3 am. I was informed by the man in the front that after 3 am the computer systems completely shut down and there was absolutely nothing he could do for me, it did not matter that I had a reservation. On the reservation I estimated my time to be early morning. Went to Super 8.

Overnight Stop

This was fine for an overnight stop. It could use some updating but everything was clean and the bed was comfortable - just the furniture was pretty old. It is air conditioned and there is a tv. The manager was very nice and accommodated our request for a ground floor room (no elevators). The continental breakfast included isn't much - you can make waffles or have cold cereal, coffee - it was enough to get going but neither one of us thought it lived up to "continental breakfast". It was inexpensive and there was nothing that would dissuade me from another overnight stay.
