Hey if cheap is the key word in your hotel search, this is the place-perfectly safe area, clean beds, and quiet rooms away from the street noise. Cheap and clean are the key words.We had a wheel chair user and the wheel chair lift was great!!

You shouldn't expect spa comfort - it's a decent enough motel run by honest hard working people. Off-street parking. I didn't notice any insects in the room. Sparse pickings at breakfast - so count on going somewhere else for your first meal of the day!

I was on a small business trip, booked this motel in Berkeley. It was very inexpensive compared to others. The room I had was OK, in need of some minor repairs. Mentioned to the staff about the missing smoke detector with exposed wiring. The had installed a battery operated one over the door, so there was one. I would stay here again, but without my spouse - she demands more luxury accommodations. Location has several restaurants within walking distance.

I was supposed to be here for a week but left early for a few reasons. First, my room was dirty. Second the walls are thin and I could hear the people next door as if they were in my room . I couldn't figure out the way the shower worked and the man at the desk had no idea either! He would not give me a receipt when I checked out, he said they would mail me one but so far I have not received one.

Probably my fault that I was drawn to the old school motel look and vibe and had a small budget to work with, but this place is pretty rough around the edges. Nice things: staff is friendly and helpful, awesome to have a free parking lot right there, nice of them to offer a simple breakfast in their lobby. That being said, on the downside, rooms are pretty run down, beds are not super comfy, with very thin and old bedding, bunch of things were sorta falling apart at the edges.
