We stayed here because the room was around $50 a night. But when we arrived we realized there is a $25 per fee. They were flexible with the dog type and the weight though. Our room was across the pool which is a nice grass area with bunnies. My dog love to walk around the yard smelling all the creatures. The room was spacious with refrigerator and microwave. The hotel needs some tlc and a good clean up as there is garbage everywhere. The pool is not in service because it does not have a pump. The chairs around the pool have seen better days. The hotel is located next to the freeway and close to parks and a golf course. So it could be a nice hotel with some investment and clean up. Friendly, easy going.

Isn't the same place as a year ago!

Have stayed here several times over he years with a pleasant experience. Not this round and I won't return.
Let's start with this: a budget hotel still has expectations to meet, Mr. Owner. Choice Hotels needs to reconsider the brand for this establishment!
Few ideas- 1. Pick up a broom. Or hire someone to, and USE it. Or a blower and blow all of the crap from the hallways, entryways and backside of your property somewhere else if laziness is key here, which obviously it is.
2. Take the trash out. Garbage and less than energetic employees.
3. Breakfast offered? Serve it then. What is offered for breakfast isn't there. Period. Cold cereal is the option this morning.
On a positive note, rooms were clean and didn't find any crawlies unexpectedly.
Property cleanup is paramount. Make your place welcoming to guests, not disgust them.
Let's see how long the pizza stays in the entryway... 2 days that I have seen. Oh wait, I won't know, because I won't be back.

Horrible experience!!!!!!!! Stay at your own risk!! Has bedbugs!!!!

Bathroom looked disgusting, couldn't bring myself to shower in it. Bathroom counter sink area was covered in dead bugs and coffee packet has weavel shells on them. I was afraid to take my shoes off and walk on the floor. We checked for bed bugs due to how horrible the room looked and didn't find any but there were some hiding somewhere. My husband has about 20 bites on him and then one fell off his sweatshirt he slept in to try to protect himself. He caught it and 2 others on pillow case. Took to office clerk who seemed as if she could care less. Supposedly was going to tell General Manager. Nightmare hotel!!!! Stay at your own risk!!!!! Bed bugs are present. You would think if you took bugs into the office they would offer your money back or something not just an I'm sorry I will let the GM know.

Hotel should not carry Choice Hotels brand name!

We rented two seperate King-bed hotel rooms. One room the heater did not work. the 2nd room the refrig did not work, and the toilet water inlet valve was shut off (we realized why when we turned it on only to realize it kept running!) We swapped rooms for the room with no heater only to get a room with two twin-beds - after another 30-minute wait! We didn't worry about the other room and kept it. (just turned the water on each time to flush the toilet!)

maintainence is clearly an issue here.

CONS: outside corrider (not good in the middle of winter!) , no elevator to the 2nd floor (keep that in mind if elderly), no light switches in the rooms (must walk to the light and turn it on manually). Poorly maintained facility. Discovered the next day that those rooms should not have been rented out!!) over 30-minute check in (even though we had pre-paid and made reservations in advance!)

PROs: Large clean rooms, non-smoking room didn't stink from Fabreeze sanitizer trying to mask the smoke smell that some hotels try to do, private toilet/shower from sink area. Breakfast area was large area and clean. Lots of abundant items (hot gravy and bisquits, waffles, boiled eggs, breads, juice, cereal, yougurt, fruit cups.

Truly a zero.

We spent one night in this dated but cheap motel. And while we recognize the "value" of the low price, we do not accept a rude reception by the hotel manager, Mark, who refused to do anything for us even though a pipe burst below our room leaving us with no heat or water, in sub freezing temperatures. We were asking for $20 back so we could go grab a coffee and sit somewhere warm but we were met with attitude and indifference. This motel is no prize to begin with. Throw in crappy customer service and you are seriously better off anywhere in town.
