Filthy Air Conditioner Filter

This place looks great! But looks can be deceiving. My daughter noticed the floor was wet by the AC unit. I took a look and noticed the unit wasn't draining properly and had soaked the carpet, but also found that the air filters appeared to have never been cleaned! (See pictures) Disgusting. Owners manual for the AC unit says to clean them twice per month. My guess, is that they weren't cleaned for the whole three years the place has been in operation.
The hotel staff refunded me one night's stay, replaced the wet carpet squares with dry ones, and fixed the leak. Problem solved. We'll definitely come stay here again if we find ourselves in Dover. I just hope the maintenance of the hotel improves a bit.

Best place to say in Dover! I always stay at this property when in Dover on business. Here is why: Wonderful and attentive staff. Clean rooms. Great coffee. Accessible gym.. The beds are comfy and great water pressure in the shower.

Overall good close to excellent, people in kitchen were not happy a little bit expensive for the area the hotel is new that is a plus hopefully it won't get run down by the time we stay there next year.

Clean, breakfast, saline pool opens at 0600, BBQ grills ask front desk for utensils to cook with; close to restaurants, close to attractions; shopping mall is nearby overall a great value; Hotel is near freeway exits to the beaches

Exceeded our expectations

We were travelling home from the Outer Banks and stopped here to spend the night. The accommodations were stylish, thoughtfully laid out with a privacy curtain between the bed and the sofa and very comfortable. The complimentary breakfast was a big step up from the usual fare available in most hotels.Having breakfast sandwiches available is great if you are in a hurry. Overall a very positive experience and highly recommended.
