Great overnight stay!
Jacqueline Mon 11/06/2017 00:23We had a quick but restful and enjoyable stay! Margaret the owner is extremely warm and accommodating and provides excellent service. She also cooks up the best breakfast this side of the Gunnison River! Bravo! Real eggs!

Lisa Con 09/06/2017 13:59Great customer service. Pet friendly! The property is spaced out, we had a private little room in the corner which was great. The rooms are so clean! No odors no frills just a clean comfy room! I would highly recommend.
Great place for an overnight stay
Thomas Aon 10/05/2017 22:02This is a basic motel that is clean and fairly modern. The lady at check-in was very friendly and was quick and efficient with the check-in process. The room and bathroom were very clean and well sized and other than the big old CRT television were fairly up-to-date. The Wi-Fi worked great. While I didn't see a pool, I did see a sign for an indoor spa.
Two small gripes: First, the property is to the west of Gunnison proper, and no restaurants are nearby. But a quick drive got me to a decent eating establishment. Second, while there is no shortage of hot water, the temperature varies with other rooms also using it.
But overall, it is nearly the perfect place for a quick overnight stay.

seniortraveler2017on 01/05/2017 19:05My wife and I stayed at the Roadway Inn April 26, 2017. I had checked Tripadvisor for Gunnison hotels and many were showing no availability but this one had some rooms so
we decided to try it. What a pleasant surprise!! The room was spotless, The bed was fantastically comfortable and the customer service was outstanding.
We have stayed in many places that were much more expensive and more popular, but we have never stayed anywhere that was cleaner or more comfortable, As for the rate, we could have stayed at this Roadway Inn for three nights for the price we have paid for other hotels.
I can't say enough good things about Margaret, the owner. She goes the extra mile to be sure her guests are taken care of.
Spacious and clean!
Katy Bon 26/04/2017 04:23I was looking for a quiet, comfortable room for the night that would allow pets. I'm so glad I chose the Rodeway Inn! Customer service was excellent. Margaret told me the best places to walk my dog and gave me an overview of the breakfast menu. The room is simple but very clean. It's everything you could want at an affordable rate, plus I find the exterior very charming.
