Meh, the price is right
charles bon 22/11/2014 20:07We stopped in for the night exhausted from the road. Not a bad place for the price, and a great location, easy access. The coffee is horrible, but that was to be expected for the price. Would stay again if just needing a cheap bed for the night.
Rock and a Hard Place...:-(
John Jon 23/09/2014 20:56I found myself in a position where I needed a place to stay for the week and had tight funds, I remembered them flying a weekly rate banner for years, so I stopped in. The lady there acted like my being there was a great bother but gave me a great rate. Upon first glance, the hotel and the room both look run down but still somewhat serviceable...understandable for the money...BUT...when I moved in, I noticed a lot of problems...only one roll of toilet paper on a 2 TP roll, dirty room & bathroom. NO TOWELS, only a small bathmat towel. I asked for towels but did not get any...will see if I do tonight. I asked about WIFI, she grudgingly gave me the password...BUT...signal too weak to get online. Turned off the light and tried to sleep, both beds were completely shot! Covers are filthy, sheets a disturbing shade of ivory...I fell asleep but woke up 2 hours later, there are MANY ambient noises. Turning on the light, there were dozens of roaches...ugh! Turned on heater and it smeeled like it was burning plastic for several minutes... Breakfast was listed from 6:30am til 9:00am, I was there at 6:30 but the door was still locked and nothing on display. I asked if I would get towels and if they cleaned the rooms...she grunted of course! This property has seen better days, many days ago... I unfortunately have paid in advance so will have to tough it out...However, I have done some research and am going to their competitor next week and they quote 10$ cheaper...reviews for them is 2.5 points better at least. Best if you look elsewhere or be sorry.
Absolutely the worst place i have ever stayed!!?
gtechfan72on 02/07/2014 19:17Rooms are filthy and smell horribly. Found a used condom in one of our beds. Asked for new sheets and toilet paper and they refused. A complete joke. This placed needs to be condemned. DO NOT STAY HERE!!!!
Clean and comfortable
carol fon 17/03/2013 17:43Our double bed room was warm, clean and comfortable on this chilly March night. Nice people were in the office and made check-in easy. The microwave and fridge worked great and they were clean. Overall, no frills but a nice place to stay overnight. I would stay here again.
Disgusting
Lauren Gon 25/07/2012 05:17We were traveling late at night and needed somewhere to stay. When we pulled up, there was about a foot of black water in the pool, which should have been a red flag for us to run, especially because it was the middle of summer. This is the most disgusting place I have ever stepped foot in and I would not recommend it to anyone. The room iteself was in horrible condition and smelled like stale cigarettes mixed with body odor. There were stains on the walls, carpets, fixtures, as well as, all other visible surfaces. We did not even want to set our luggage down, but eventually settled on the dresser and chair. The sink and tub were covered in hair and were crumbling. The towels and washcloths literally looked like rags that had been used to scrub a filthy bathroom and were then hung on the rack.We did not use either and made due with what we had brought with us. There was no soap or any other toiletries so I was grateful we had brought our own. After all of this, I wasn't surprised to find hair and stains on the sheets, which didn't even fit the bed, when we pulled back the covers. Thank goodness I always also bring my own pillows and blankets when I travel because there is no way we would have slept in this bed. If the filth doesn't deter you, then maybe the bar next door playing music til 4 am will. The staff spoke little english and while it was VERY difficult to communicate, they also were not very friendly. While we were putting our luggage in the car, (we had quite a few bags because we were on a rather long trip) a man, who was apparently waiting to clean the room, asked us, "Are you done?" each time we came out with a different bag. I have no idea why he was rushing us (we were already going as fast as we could to get out ASAP) because it was 6 am and there were three other cars outside. He asked us a total of 5 times before we were finally able to get the heck out of there. This is ONLY the start and my best advice would be: DON"T DO IT! Spend the extra 50 bucks, in order to avoid a health hazard.
