Big room; ok breakfast
Eric Con 15/05/2017 21:17I came down here from St Paul on business, I was working at a wedding at the lake; but had my wife and son along as well.
We got one of the rooms behind the hotel (110). We found the room to be bigger than a standard hotel room. Longer by a couple of feet and wider. There was maybe 6 or 8 feet from the foot of the beds to the dresser and TV.
The water pressure for the shower was strong and water was HOT, and of course can be adjusted easily...which was good for me. I prefer a good hot shower.
The breakfast is standard fare, nothing spectacular, but decent. Milk, fresh coffee, cereal, toast, and a mini waffle maker...that's a nice twist :)
Outside, along the south side of the main building is a patio area, where you can relax and enjoy a small grill fire as the night progresses. This is a nice added touch.
Parking is either street or in a rather tight parking lot. Thought the slots are clearly marked, you'll need to be careful when backing out.

Jen Jon 17/02/2017 15:30Rodeway Inn is located off of Highway 71 in Milford, Iowa and is close to the Okoboji Classic Car Museum, Boji Bay Fun House & Pavilion and just minutes away from the Arnolds Park Amusement Park, Queen II tour boat, golf courses, public beaches and more.
The rooms are very modern and clean. They also have a wonderful pool & spa area that is enticing for all families and relaxing after a long day enjoying all that the Iowa Great Lakes has to offer.
While there is no restaurant on-site, you're just minutes away from so many restaurants in the Iowa Great Lakes. All along Highway 71 you'll find wonderful places to eat and enjoy the lakes.
Owners Soon & Kim are very accommodating to their guests. And as a Choice Hotels property, you earn points for staying with them as you explore the area.
Great all around stay!
April Ton 19/10/2016 20:32I made the reservation late and they still found me a room. A family emergency came up and I didn't get in town on the time I planned, but they were understanding and kept my reservation. The room was very clean and comfortable. I definitely enjoyed the all tile floors.

Lobby was very warm and inviting as was the guest room. Would recommend this hotel for pleasure or business accommodations.
Great starting point for biking
akelleyrdhon 26/08/2016 04:35Our original plan was to stay in Okoboji, but all rooms were full. Milford is close and as it turned out, a great place to start on the biking trail.
The check in process went quick and smooth which was great after our long drive. Our room was the perfect location so we could bring our bikes in and out of our room. The room was clean and the beds were comfortable. The breakfast was good for a quick bite. We even enjoyed sitting out on their patio having a couple of cold refreshments. We love boji, but staying here gave us the best of both; close to boji for fun in the sun, but able to return to our rooms to enjoy the quiet (and away from traffic)
