WORST CUSTOMER SERVICE EVER!
Craylin92on 12/06/2017 02:52My fiancé and I booked this hotel 2 months in advance and paid them on 4/24/17. When we got to surfside beach this weekend (6/9/17) they told us that we didnt pay them yet and tried to make us pay again after the money had already been taken out of our account and had a confirmation email PROVING that we already paid in full.. management was absolutely pathetic to say the least and offered NO help in resolving this problem after we showed proof of the reservation. We sat in the parking lot on the phone with our bank for 2 hours trying to figure out what happen to our money. Come to find out Rodeway Inn stole our money and tried to make us pay again.. thankfully our bank got our money back and we went to a better hotel!
Unless you want the most disrespectful, unapologetic, worst customer service ever, then DO NOT STAY HERE! There are much better hotels in Surfside Beach!

davista1967on 18/02/2017 02:38We booked this room through Choice, we were getting in late and leaving early so we chose a less expensive hotel for the 9 hours we would be there...I did not realize we were booking a room at a pay by the hour motel.
We stayed and slept on top of the bed...we have had another issue with Choice this week so during the conversation about that issue I sent the pictures of this room to them. The management of this hotel came back to tell us that we actually told them that we enjoyed our stay...well we never talked to them again and just left as soon as we could in the morning.
Considering the treatment we have received from the management of this hotel and the people at Choice I feel like people going to this area should know where not to stay!
****Racist, Unprofessional, Dirty (bugs) & Bad Service overall****
Andy0629on 08/09/2016 20:48Overall our experience with this hotel was disappointing as the hotel was dirty, the front desk staff is extremely rude and not professional, they are never available to help or answer any questions. The hotel seriously need help keeping the rooms clean as they have lots of bugs in the beds, the rooms stink and not everything that is mentioned on the hotel's site about amenities are true. I also noticed this hotel is racist as they don't like to help anyone that is not white and the hotel itself doesn't feel safe. I was traveling to celebrate a pleasant family trip but unfortunately, my hotel stay was the worst experience I had considering it was the first time I traveled to South Carolina. I seriously would not recommend this hotel to anyone as they need to fire everyone in front desk and hire pleasant and professional staff that knows how to treat their customers with respect and show availability at all times.

Brenda Jon 21/07/2016 04:14clean but not very customer oriented, pool was decent, outside areas not kept clean. room was immaculate but lacking in amenities. 1/2 roll of toilet paper and did not answer the door when knocked to ask for more. No coffee in room, or hairdryer but had frig and microwave.
Very basic but well located
cisco289on 15/06/2016 01:46We stayed at the Rodeway's sister motel (New Astro) that is nearly attached and shares an office manager. Our room was clean and had a refrigerator, microwave, and nice tv. Like many motels anymore, there is no coffee maker. The outdoor pool was clean and very accessible. For a quick, very basic overnight stop that is located near endless shops and eateries, this place is a-ok. Just do not expect too much.
