Barely adequate
Priscilla Hon 30/03/2017 13:42The hotel at UConn was full so we got a room where we could. There was a room, a poorly laid out room, and it had beds and a weirdly configured bathroom with no place to put one's clothes or toiletries when using the shower. Our non-smoking room was next door to a smoking room which seemed odd. The halls and common areas reeked of stale smoke and some of that smell seeped into our non-smoking room. There was ice in the driveway between where we had to park and the entrance - and there was no apparent attempt to make the entrance safe - no sand or salt. And their advertising brags about the adjacent restaurant which was out of what we really wanted to order. Perhaps the Burger King would have been better. Even at the rock bottom prices this place is no bargain.
Very basic - a little over priced for the money
Clammerdave7728on 11/02/2017 02:18Just a basic room. Nothing special, but no major complaints I paid $ 66:00 for one nite, with room tax, $ 76:59. A true value for this room would be in the $ 40:00 to $ 45:00 dollar range, not including tax, but hey, I was tired. Seems truckers are the main clientele.

cbn313on 11/12/2016 18:30water damage everywhere, filthy, burn holes in beds, linen, floors, rugs were gross. the bathroom door had a hole and was dirty. pulled in at 10pm. out by 6a. too late and tired to keep going. never stay here. the breakfast was a joke. stale donut holes
Nasty Nasty Nasty
mcmneaceon 27/11/2016 12:47This hotel has got to be the worst place we have ever stayed in. We didn't expect it to be a mansion but didn't expect it to be so bad. For starters the attendant was never at the desk. You had to push a "phone locator" button to call him to the desk. He took his time getting there. The place looked like it hadn't been vacuumed in a month and it smelled bad. The room was filthy. There was hair everywhere, in the sheets, on the pillows, on the ice bucket. The sheets had obviously been used. We asked for another room and the second one was a bit better. It had what appeared to be clean sheets at least. We will never stay there again.
Family weekend at Uconn
captken68on 01/10/2016 23:15Do not stay here! One of if not the worst hotel I've ever stayed at! Smells of cigarettes, holes in screen, water stains on ceiling tiles, bathroom fan sounds like a plane, not enough towels,morning Buffett not set up by 730am. Fitness center reads open 630am-9pm, always locked. Tear it down and start over!
