OrsoBFon 08/03/2017 09:33Right now they are overhauling the hotel and I am really looking forward to stay there in June next time. i can imagine the midnight sun at the terrass with the waterfront.
Breakfast was Ok, especially the local salmon was delicious.
We had dinner (8 persons), everyone was very pleased. We tried several different dishes. The waiter do need some more training, though very friendly. We have all been beginners:-)
Nice location by the fjord!
Svein-Magne_Tunlion 27/10/2016 10:28Rognan hotel has a nice location close to the Saltdalsfjorden. The hotel has a large lobby and a nice dining area offering fantastic views down the fjord and mountains.
My bedroom was clean and comfortable but a little old fashioned (see my attached photos).
Breakfast was ok but nothing out of the ordinary.
The staff was friendly and helpful.
This is an ok overnight stop on your way.

KeithFaggon 17/09/2016 21:10We stayed one night here on way to Norway's Coastal Road. They family hotel is well located in a quiet, almost sleepy town. The hotel has the largest marble staircase we've ever seen! Our room seems to have been recently renovated and most comfortable. Tommy, who worked both reception and the restaurant was very helpful.
Great location on the waterfront
evcoleon 24/08/2016 17:14Location is excellent but for value for money it could be a lot better, the hotel itself is fine and the staff could not be faulted, rooms are quite basic but it serves a purpose, I stayed a night in November and when I arrived the heating was off in the room, turning it on was not an issue but in Rognan in november it takes a while to heat things up. Restaurant was fine, a very helpful waitress helped to translate the menu for me and service was great, overall a good hotel but a little overpriced, supply and demand I guess.

731ingehon 29/07/2016 22:24Good hotel located in the center of Rognan. Friendly staff who are not up to help customers with any problems. It served good breakfast, with many choices. During the day / evening it's easy to have a lunch or dinner.
