What People are saying

Overall great apartment but could do with a bit more attention to detail.

Lovely, modern apartment in a wonderful part of Rome - just a short walk to the Campo di Fiori, Vatican and Piazza Navona. To be honest all of Rome’s major attractions are within walking distance of the location. It is also close to a number or local shops, cafes, restaurants and a supermarket.
We stayed in apartment 6 on the third floor a lovely 2 bedroom apartment overlooking the street. A number of previous reviews note the excessive noise, however we experienced nothing of the sort (luckily for us the pub below had closed down, so don't let those comments from previous reviews put you off.
Unfortunately whilst we were there the lift was not working therefore it was a bit of a pain to lug our suitcases up and down 3 flights of stairs on arrival and departure. The office near the termini was easy to find and the staff were very friendly.
On the whole this was a wonderful apartment, however the batteries in the air condition did not work, and though the ‘cleaners’ came in every day they did not change the batteries for us. The ‘cleaners’, I use this term loosely as they did not really clean the apartment were inconsistent in the work that they did e.g. loading the dishwasher with 2 glasses, and leaving glasses from other rooms, not changing towels etc. we also discovered that there was no duvet cover on the duvet either – there was just a sheet … I dread to imagine how many people had slept in that bed without a duvet cover….

Wifi as most places in Italy was weak, and the tv signal in the bedroom was poor – that being said we just used the apartment as a base so that didn’t really bother us.
My main bug bear with the apartment was the lack of supplies – when I have used serviced apartments previously there has always been the basics e.g. salt & pepper, oil, dishwasher tablets laundry detergent and sometimes even milk and bread etc. unfortunately there was none here – meaning we didn’t really use the kitchen and had to purposely buy laundry detergent – a bit of a pain for a quick wash whilst on holiday.
On the whole I would say these apartments are great – a lovely size, well equipped (dishwasher, washing machine, fridge/freezer, oven etc) and the location was PERFECT. I would definitely recommend them, and use them again as they were great value for money!

Great location

We stayed here for a week and were really impressed by the apartment. Fantastic location- walkable to all the major attractions, 5 mins to piazza navona, 15 to the pantheon and 15 to the vatican. It was modern, clean and spacious and there was daily maid service which is unusual for a rented apartment. The side facing the street was noisy in the evenings/at rush hour as expected for a city centre appt but the bedroom was nice and quiet. There is free wifi and a hairdryer.

You have to check in and out at the Termini office across town, about a 9 euro taxi ride. Office staff were very friendly and looked after our bags for us after check out until we left for our evening flight.

The only con was that it's up four flights of stairs without a lift (we were in the top apartment) and there are other apartments on the 2nd and 3rd floors. This was OK for us but I imagine wouldn't be ideal if you were frail/struggled with stairs.

Overall we had a very pleasant stay, for a reasonable price

Really enjoyable stay

We only stayed for two nights in this apartment but it was perfect. Located in a reasonable place in the city to access all the attractions you want to see. Not only that but the apartment contained every appliance you would need from a washing machine to a dishwasher. The only down sides are the noise at night time due to the bar on the opposite side of the road and the WiFi is pretty bad. However, we enjoyed our stay in Rome and the apartment and would definitely go back!

Avoid if you like to sleep

I must say that this has been the worst apt rental experience that I have ever had.

All the windows face a very noisy street with construction during the day and a very loud bar at night. During bar hours, people go out on the street to smoke and talk loudly. After the bar closes, drunk people hang out in front, talking loudly until 3:30 am. No soundproofing was available in the room, as advertised.

The kitchen was poorly stocked.
-- There was no way to make a cup of tea and nothing to drink it in -- no cups.
-- No cutting board.
-- All the non-stick pans were scraped up and the coating was flaking off. Yuck.
-- The refrigerator froze everything we put in it, no matter how we adjusted the temmperature.
-- No kitchen linens as advertised.

No dryer as advertised and no place to hang wet clothes to dry. I booked this apt because the listing said it included a dryer.

The heat didn't work, it rained a lot and and we were cold and wet.

One day, the cleaning service came in and released some strong horrible perfume in the apartment that stank up the place and made me sick. The strong perfume lasted until we left.

I tried to discuss all of this (at the beginning of our stay) with the hotel staff but they did not care and did not help to make things better. At the end of our stay, they offered us a free taxi to the airport.

Great stay here.

Really enjoyed our four day stay here. The apartment is modern, clean and has a full length balcony overlooking Via dei Cartari. The bed is very comfortable, air con worked well. The location is great, near to Piazza Navona, and only a 2min walk to Campo di Fiori. The staff were very helpful, carrying our bags up four flights of stairs for us, and then explaining how everything works in the apartment. (The new lift was being finished as we left) We booked this online from Australia, and were wrongly advised to check-in at another address (Corso Rinascimento). When we arrived here, we were offered espresso coffee, and waited ten mins for other staff to arrive in a cab, to take us to Relais De Cartari, the cab fare at their expense. This is true customer service, and we highly recommend the accommodation and the staff.
